    Good morning ladies

I am a long time lurker on this forum, I love all the stuff you guys do; just steeling myself to try my extremely rusty sewing skills!
In Tesco on Saturday I bought a kingsize duvet cover set in the "Amelia Patch, Pink" design for only £5 :j . A while ago people were getting the single sized version from Tesco online at (I think £1.97). So for those of us who missed out, this might be some compensation.
Keep up the good work, you are all very inspirational!

Wow you lot have been busy!
I have been sewing lots lately but making stuff that is practical and not too pretty, I have mad my Mum a cover for her seat cushion in very dull plain cream, I have taken up and in several pairs of work trousers and repaired kids clothes. I did manage to make some makeup bags yesterday for my giveaway I am addicted to Cath Kidston stuff at the minute but there is almost no material left so this might be the chance to have a change, this is the makeup bag I made, lined with a tea towel!:

Beautiful makeup bag Kandi. I do love that fabric.

I can't remember who was asking but the fabric i made my little girls skirt from was from www.fivevalleysdesigns.com They have 40% off as they are closing down. Worth a look as they delivered in less than 2 days and have some lovely fabrics x

hart that's lovely it must have taken a while with all of that blanket stitch around the letters and heart. I like the idea of adding beads, I have millions of the things I should think about adding more of them to my makes.

It didn't take too long to do as I love embroidery and this was an idea I have had in mind for a while but I wanted to do it in red but I couldn't get the pencil marks to show so I did it on a bit of calico insted but DD is happy lol.

Artydoll your hearts are very pretty :D
