I use Argos duvet covers for fabric too - meet mabel the hobby horse:

I just love duvet covers even more when they have a different pattern on the other side. I get mine from charity shops also double sheets. A lot I have got are new.Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

What a great idea, why didn't I think of that?! I've looked i charity shops but its usually 'old lady' covers and not what I'm looking for but thats a cheap way of getting funky fabrics.
BTW Have you checked out http://www.fabricrehab.co.uk/ has to be the most beautiful fabrics anywhere but the prices are not very MSE! I often just look at the fabrics and lust over them but now I might lust over the Argos catalogue instead!0
