Bunny thank you, I think, for the link to the fabric site they have some wonderful fabrics that will hopefully springboard some ideas for me.

What a great idea, why didn't I think of that?! I've looked i charity shops but its usually 'old lady' covers and not what I'm looking for but thats a cheap way of getting funky fabrics.

BTW Have you checked out http://www.fabricrehab.co.uk/ has to be the most beautiful fabrics anywhere but the prices are not very MSE! I often just look at the fabrics and lust over them but now I might lust over the Argos catalogue instead!

Oh, I'm mad at you for showing me that (only kidding :))!
There are loads of beautiful things on there and I want one (or more) of each!
I must behave and make stuff with what I already have instead of keep buying every new thing that catches my eye ~ I'm like a magpie :o

I can not look at anything in the carity shops now without thinking what can I make with that fabric :rotfl: I even hold shirts and skirts out fully to see how much fabric could be re-used (I dont see shirts only fabric :rotfl:)

I have got the bug for purse and clutch bag frames as they are nice and easy to make, just small lined bags with the frames glued in place :D
They use very small amounts of fabric so I can buy the realy nice fabric for those and use the sheets and duvets for other projects :) but its very slow going at the mo as I usually only have wkends to work on anything :(
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Sethsgran has really inspired me to knit a doll after showing us the AK dolls, they are bril :j

After stopping myself buying a knitted doll book mon Amazon, I thought I'd try and find something free on the web. I like this one

I need to go out soon but will be having a good look here when I come back
