  • My last sewing project, finished today was PANTS, not pants you wear, pants meaning rubbish. I have made a couple of dresses which were lovely so decided to make another one, same pattern, method etc but fabric more expensive. It is just not 'right'. I have wasted all that material, gutted. (Will have very smart dusters) What is your worst sewing disaster?

Fingers crossed it don't take long to get there Winnie, I was doing really well for nearly a year, was losing about 1lb a week, lost 5 stones so far. Then in May the weightloss just stopped even though I have been continuing with the same eating pattern.

I joined slimming world in sept last year and have lost 19 pounds to get me to my target they say in class sometimes your body can stick because we tend to eat the same things in the same routine, if that makes sense so try switching it about a bit if you eat weetabix all the time for breakfast change to porridge for a bit give your body a kick start again to make it work.

Well done on the weight loss could it be that you have just reached your ideal weight?

Now, can anyone tell me where I can buy teabags that come in individual paper packets, like you get for room service in a hotel?

  • It's me again, still no further with anything completed. Now we have two new cars in the house, so had to buy a Sat Nav, so I can be a further menace on the roads, been out foraging, so much fruit falling off the trees around here, so being me I am letting them go to waste. Going foraging again today witha neighbour, we have plans. So many blackberries and cherrys just for the picking.

I need to finish the Bargello Jacket I am making, this is my goal before Saturday but with the Hobbit home for two days, he works a three day week, this could be one amition too far.

keep your needles sharp, and thread to hand.

    Kind thoughts

You can buy boxes with individually wrapped tea bags in the supermarket or you can get them on eBay too

Thanks HMO - just wondering which ones are individually wrapped as I've looked in the supermarket and can't see any.
