Kiess; I seem to spend a lot of time unpicking things!
Mooloo; That's a nice idea to teach somebody to sew. I hope you both have a great time.

This is a quilt that I made this week. My stash cupboard was overflowing somewhat so thought I would make a chair quilt for my dd.

Back view, the pink fabric was a valance that I found in a charity shop.

I've got 2 x sizzix tumbler dies as above they retail or £13.99, does anyone want one for £7 plus actual postage? They are brand new in packaging

Until this Thursday, all Vogue patterns (including Designer) are $2.88 - others (eg McCalls, Butterick) are $1.44.

Shipping costs $15 for up to three patterns, so it's worth considering for the most expensive patterns.

No these ones do NOT sew leather.
They say that they do not sew the heavier fabrics in thier specks.

I am not so sure, I remember somewhere that there was a problem with any Service from this company. I cant find the entry on here at the moment but will have a search. I think you should google them on the sewing forum. I am sure that there is a few things mentioned on there! I will take a look later, but my dinner is ready.

Thanks. Surely, there's a guide somewhere explaining the machines that are suitable for certain materials.

Hi everyone, not been over here for a while as been so busy doing stuff for my craft stalls. Was supposed to be doing another one this Saturday but my lift has let me down and think its too late to find anyone now.

Seen some lovely makes on here flicking back through the last few pages, you all seem to have been busy too.

Mooloo, glad you had a nice holiday and have some new fabric ready for more sewing xx

I have made a few more things since I last came on, just in the process of finishing off a bag made from recycled ties, made a couple of dinosaur toys yesterday, and been doing some Christmassy bits for the stall, nothing elaborate, just some felt decorations and a bit of bunting.
