Ooh well done Moolooo for finding all those goodies in the charity shop :j Hope your neck feels better soon x

So I've finally got round to posting the first of my lingerie trio, the PJ pants. In navy 4 way stretch jersey.

I just used a pattern just to get the crotch seam curve but the rest was self drafted copying a pair I already had. I love them, they're so comfy! Will make some more. More info & pics on my blog.x

These look really great. I have started to wear PJ's more. was always a nightie girl, but lounging around in PJ's seems to be the way I am going of late. I should make my own. I really do let myself down with not bothering.
On another note, I have been patchworking etc. By hand. While watching the Tennis and the GrandPrix.
My sciatica is back, so I have been struggling.
If it doesnt go in the next day or so, its back to the doctors for me.
I was doing the patchwork hexagons in the Black and White Makower fabrics, (samples from jackies fabrics), and now I need more pieces so I have gone and spent nearly £50 again at hers!. I really am very naughty when it comes to buying fabric when I am on the internet. I get so carried away.
It wouldnt have mattered but after spending that on materials and nearly the same at Vistaprint, I found out that my money hadnt gone into the bank today!. So I am going to have to be more careful and check the bank balances etc before I spend!. OOps. Double oops really.

I know! Dont know why I hadnt. Usually first thing I do everyday is check the bank accounts! Oh well, its on my credit card, so I have until the 16th of August to find the money.
Maybe I should get making and selling something!.

The fabric has arrived this morning all ready!
    amazing.
I dont have the time to go up to the work area in my room now, as I have taken DGD to her new school for a look around, and I have to go back for 11. If I start to work with the fabrics I will go over the time so easily.
Luckily after lunch I get some me time and will be able to get to work.
for the first time I bought some precut 5" squares for Christmas fabrics. Now I just have to make up my mind what I am going to make with them! Mind you I would like a few cushion covers for me for Christmas if I can.
We will see what I can think of. See if I have any fabrics lurking upstairs in the loft to stretch the patches out a bit.
I could do with some plain white and plain black cotton fabrics to eek out the Makower fabrics as well.
Those are the handsewing patchworks that I am doing when I am sitting in the frontroom and cant get to the work area. I have to do something when sitting or I go a bit stir crazy.
    :D

Thanks Mooloo, deg gonna make some more of the PJ pants.

And 'ooops' for the spending, I'm the same, just bought 3 table runners from H&M in the sale because I think I can make something out of the fabric...even tho I'm overflowing with fabric at the moment :rotfl:

Good for you thinking ahead to Xmas already, will try and take a leaf out of your book :D

Thanks Mooloo you've given me an idea how to Christmasify (is that a word, it is now :)) my living room ready for Christmas. And at least I know I can make cushion covers on my sewing machine. Think I'll make some Christmas bunting too! Not yet though, it will be on my to do list.
Had started thinking about Christmas today as well.

Ages ago I posted saying that I had to move and carry out an oil change on the girlfriends sewing machine and that I would post some photos for those members who have a sewing machine fetish :)

    Enjoy,

As you can see it's a Brother, original Japanese built I believe metal internal parts

Have to drain the oil first, oil is used in high speed machines for lubrication,

    Needed a steady hand,

    Parts to be removed,

    Stripped,

And assembled in it's new home,
