Cuddles, I will have to hunt for the tea bag holder thingy online and let you know as I printed it out ages ago and didnt save the page. I can explain what it is like, the pattern is like one long rectangle that is like three squares that are a bit bigger than a tea bag all placed next to each other width ways, add a bit extra on the square to the left to turn in, then the last one on the right you cut the corner off just above the middle. Then cut out your pieces but remember to cut the lining bits with the pattern this way up and the outer bits with the pattern flipped over or they wont fit together properly or you will get the lining on the outside (yes, i did this lol). Then put the two bits of fabric together right sides facing and sew all around the two long edges and the diagonal bit leaving the straight edge open to turn through. Then press and turn the edges inside and press again. Then fold the holder into three so the diagonal pocket is inside and the cover opens like a book and press again. Then open it up and topstitch around the outer edge starting at the diagonal edge. When you get to the last side fold the pocket bit underneath so you sew over the two thicknesses. Then flip the whole thing over and just sew the little bit of flap down. Thats about it apart from sewing on a bit of velcro to do it up.

I dont know what I will sell them for, havent decided yet.

If I find the tutorial I will let you know xx

Think this is the same one I have xxhttp://www.lollychops.com/lollychops/2010/01/teal-tea-toters-and-tatterers-too.html

Well I made a couple of canvas bags over the last week, and have two part made. Using some lovely fabrics that I bought from MyFabrics. They come across from Germany.
Here is the bag that I made for my brothers birthday, and one for the sales market.

Hope that you like them as much as I do!. I think I will need to purchase somemore canvas to make more over the coming weeks, or to make something else with the fabrics. Just loving them.

I also made up the patchwork pieces that I bought in the charity shop.

Now i just need to add to them, and finish them off!. This may take some time. Finding the fabrics that will work with these.

I love the bags Mooloo - especially the elephant.

I was a wee bit naughty this morning. I was near the factory shop, so I nipped in. I bought a very large piece of blue and cream striped fabric (50p), plus a lined curtain with panels of flowers on, that I can cut up (£1). I just need to get round to stitching more often.

Mooloo the bags are gorgeous. :)

Just popped into Dunhelm Mill at lunchtime and got my mum a gingham sewing box to hold bits and pieces, only £14, the ones I've seen elsewhere have been much more

Mooloo, the bags are fab and that fabric is really nice, very different. Looks great as panels on the bags. The patchwork looks pretty too, I like pinks and blues together xx

Avstar, thats a good price for a sewing box isnt it. I went to Dunelm mill last weekend, got OH to take me as I wanted to get some of those scissors to put in the sewing baskets I made. Wanted some wadding too to make up some more baskets in different sizes and came out without it. Didnt remember until I got home, was gutted lol. Hoping he will take me again this weekend but not holding my breathe.

    Thanks for the feed back.
I went to town today, for my councilling session, and was a few minutes early so I had a scour of the cancer research charity shop. They have two, but one is really cheap. So I went through the reduced rails, etc and bought a few tops that I thought the fabric would be interesting, (and a few things to wear), but there was also a few pieces of fabrics on the linen shelf. Pieces at around £1.25 a go. Plain, one is a cream fine feeling, bit like a wool blend I think, will make a lovely shawl, and then a green piece and some cream curtain lining. anyway, I dont quite know what i will do with them, but I tend to buy fabrics in charity shops when I see them, as its usually a bargain.
I also picked up another metre of the canvas and two more belts to make another couple of bags. Some with the canvas strap and one with the belts. Bought a few odd zips from them as well. He charged me 50p a zip. Then he actually knocked £1 off of the sale as well. so I am well pleased.
I have been making a few more hexagons out of some black and white makower fabrics that I got from Jackies fabrics a few weeks ago. Something to do while watching NCIS with my daughter!.
My neck is bad today, so I must have had my head bent forward far too long yesterday.

Ooh well done Moolooo for finding all those goodies in the charity shop :j Hope your neck feels better soon x

So I've finally got round to posting the first of my lingerie trio, the PJ pants. In navy 4 way stretch jersey.

I just used a pattern just to get the crotch seam curve but the rest was self drafted copying a pair I already had. I love them, they're so comfy! Will make some more. More info & pics on my blog.x
