Oh total of 1/4's is 64. So reasonable price. Now to find some easy patterns to make up.
what kind of things do you usually make and sell on??? always on look out for some unusual gifts for bottom drawer (bottom drawer seems to be taking over the room)

Still no sewing done this end. Lots of ideas etc going through my head. Cant wait for the opportunity to get the machines out again. Miss my work room and its only been a week. Still have to do some curtains for DGD's room, and finish off the duvetcover fastenings. So will have to do it at the sittingroom table.
the quilt looks lovely Pennib. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Wow, lovely quilt pennib, you have done a fantastic job!! Good luck with the quilting, you'll have sore fingers by the time you are done!!
Still no sewing this weekend, was shattered yesterday after my time spent in the garden, too tired to concentrate last night.
Busy again in the garden this morning...silver birch is down completely now..such a shame, but it was just too big. Made bread (4 loaves about to come out of the oven as I type), two lots of jam from frozen fruit, then a batch of chocolate chip cookies...shattered again!!
Hopefully I'll get some sewing done tonight, though our iron is playing up atm...tripped the power out yesterday and Friday  This will mean I can't use bondaweb then...may have to unearth the old iron...wherever it is!

They are lovely Child, I like the embroidery, I wish my machine would do that.
I made some tops today, another three for my wardrobe, only cost me the money for a bit of elastic round the neck and sleeves. My SIL gave me the fabric so that was free. I am waiting for my batteries to charge for the camera and I can put some photos up.0 -
Here are the three tops I made today. They are all knitted fabrics of some sort, the white one is thicker with a nice texture to it, the blue one and the pink one are a fine knit fabric.0

Lovely tops. 3 in one day. They are quick to make then. I shall have to raid my stash and do some clothes I think, as soon as we get the room sorted out.
Was given some curtains today, so have had a swap around in my front room and bedroom. Now I am thinking what I can do with my old ones!.
I finally finished the Jessie duvet set. But the curtains are still to be done. Didnt have enough fabric as it was originally bought for the cottage. But the fabric is now £44- £45 a metre, and so I will have to extend it at the sides with a contrasting fabric. Thinking about recycling the flaps from my canvas wardrobes and using that fabric so that I dont have to spend any more money.
Getting some nets from next door tomorrow as well. They are on the move, and as our windows are the same, its a great result for me. So much of my stuff has come from them!. :rotfl:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
