BIG thankyou to Mooloo - I have finished the duvet covers and pillowcases, only need to get some fasteners for the covers, they look really good and love my new sewing machine. Appreciated the calm guidance - no curtains as dont think the fabric goes in any room in the house . (but have managed to give a roll of the fabric away in exchange for a ceiling being painted so now only have 3 rolls minus the fabric used for the bedding)
  • Pennib - your cushions are gorgeous! and well done Rufas on finishing your make overs, your house must look lovely now!

I am just taking a rest from sewing up my lst Christmas gifts to show you what I have one from the SMS giveaway day. This is my prize for spending every spare minute on the computer this week & getting NO housework done lol I also noticed on one of the other giveaways that I had entered, Miss Pixie had won a prize also!

  • I LOVE the cushions!

I'm glued to my sewing machine today, we've been out every night this week with long days at work, so I haven't done any all week. Seeing family this week so I must get their presents finished - my back hurts!

Help please - I left a pin in some fabric - I was using my overlocker - I got the pin out but the machine seems to be seized up - I had a look on Google - said you bend a needle/nick the blade when a pin is left in but my machine just seems stuck!

  • Here's a kindle cover I've made for my Aunty for Christmas. I got the instructions from the moda bakeshop website. I'm not sure whether to put the applique flower on the front or not yet.
