Thanks Trixie and Tamster! I'll have a look at all your suggestions. I love burdastyle and I think my first attempt is going to be oonaballoon's 'double agent dress' that was the cover of the website last week...doesn't look tooooo difficult to start with.
I buy so many dresses from H&M/Topshop and think 'hmmmm this looks suspiciously like two dress-shaped pieces of fabric sewn together...' I'll let you know if I find it as simple of that!
Many thanks for the suggestions again.
Ooh thanks for pointing out the oonaballoona dress, I nip onto Burdastyle quite regularly but I missed this one. Will def try this pattern.0 -
Reading, not sewing! Been too ill. Frustrated that my gifts will not be finished at this rate!.
My Craftseller magazine has arrived today, so perhaps i will get some inspiration from that one. But the time is my biggest problem, when to fit it in there is something on all the time. DGD has another party on Saturday morning at 11am and I havent made the bunting for it! May have to divert a present that was destined for DGD under the tree!! oops.
Still only got around to making 4 christmas cards too so things are just not my handmade christmas i wanted afterall. ...maybe 20%?When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
