I am not sure if anyone on here has gone as far as making cosytoes. But you never know.
You can try looking on
www.handmadeuk.com (I think thats the link, it may be .co.uk?
or Folksy
or Etsy
These are all sights that bring people who are making things together.
I will investigate the possibilites of finding the fabrics to make one.
Are you looking for one that has the seperate legs, like my kids used to have, or are you looking one more of a Muff style. I suppose it will depend on the size of the chair it is to fit, an ordinary pushchair or a special designed chair.
I am sure that the good people on here will all have a good search around for you anyway.

Mooloo, thanks for sharing. After a quick search on Google I think it's http://ukhandmade.co.uk/ instead.0 -
Heres a pic of the unfinished patcgwork,my OH is holding it up.
Heres the back of it,lol.
on ebay, in CRAFTS there is a quilting section.
There are often unfinished projects on there, (usually described as quilt tops or unfinished quilt) I was recently watching some hexagon blocks, 2 blocks for starting price of £8! They never got any bids I presume because the starting price was so high. I often watch just out of interest - I have enough of my own UFOs to start buying other peoples lol! :rotfl:I would also find out shipping costs to US as they seem to be the biggest market for quilting stuff.0 -
Really like this style of top on Flossies blog. Does anyone know of a pattern similar in style to buy?
I have this pattern - school house tunic
although it doesnt have the pleats.0 -

I have had these links since DS1 was newborn, 4 yrs ago lol! I decided that I could make it myself for a lot cheaper & then never did :rotfl:
snunkie
baby snuggle

Is anyone planning on attending The Ally Pally show in October?
I went last year, on my own and though I enjoyed it, I would have enjoyed it more with some company.
Just wondering if any of you ladies are planning to go or would like to go & perhaps meet up?0 -

Hi sewing people!
As part of a new social enterprise I'm starting in my local area, I need to purchase a sewing machine. The people using it will be mainly beginners and will have learning disabilities. We will only need a couple of simple stitches, but will probably sew on a variety of materials. We will also need to move it around to various venues on a weekly basis.
My experience is pretty much limited to my mum's Singer, but I've been told that I need something more robust. Does anybody have any recommendations for a simple but sturdy machine?0
