The Great Declutter Part 2
Comments
-
Hi everyone
Worked a couple of days this week, so not a lot of decluttering.
Yesterday
In Shopping from Mr A's - looked like a swarm of locust had been through, is everyone bulk buying in case they get snowed in
Out 10 Ebay parcels
one pair of dog walking trousers (definitely past their best)
Some out of date sauces
Magpye, sorry about the job. Sure there is something better around the corner
Anyone know where I can get the Learn to Crochet mag from, Mr A's didn't have a single copyYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Sorry havent repoted in for 2 days and not been doing much decluttering.
Did a load of batch cooking yesterday.
I was so impressed that my bin men turned up yesterday, due to the weather I though they would be at least a day late.
And the postman is still getting around,it must take him 3 times longer than usual,it does me to walk the dog.
I shall set myself a task today, empty all kitchen cupboards and sort/declutter.
Will check in later........................0 -

Thanks for the link. Have had a look and it says £2.99 per week , but it doesn't say how many issues there are.
Used to buy cookery mags like this and spent hundreds of pounds :eek:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all.
Magpye, I'm sorry to hear about the job. Their behaviour stinks!
I managed to inventory the freezer last night. Didn't realise I had so much food in there!0 -
Still plodding along here, doing bits and pieces when I can.
Yesterday I spent some time with the kids in the snow which was great fun. Might not get a chance again for a while (doesn't snow this bad usually here along the south coast so making the most of it !)
I also listed quite a few things on Eba* so once they've sold (fingers crossed!) that will be less things cluttering up the house :j.
Going to potter today to see if there's anything I can get rid of. I'm popping down town later (walking so taking my life into my hands I think  :rotfl:) so I'll see if there's anything that can go to the charity shop. I'm in 2 minds as I've got a few things that would do for a car boot sale but I don't want them hanging around until the summer months. I might pop them in the loft - out of sight, out of mind .
OUT = Pair of my jeans that I noticed had a hole in them (I've worn them to within an inch of their life so no chance of repair)
DH, gone back to work (I can have a tidy up now, why is it always messy when the men are around  :rotfl:)
IN = Kids, another snow day
Will update later, have a great day everyone and stay safe ! xx:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -
Magpye - sorry to hear bout your job, happened to me twice last year so I now how you feel xx
IN - Nothing
OUT (PENDING) - loads of vie catalogues as will do a mini leaflet drop with them before the new catalogues come out tomorrow
2 ebay parcels gettin posted today by my fab daddy, plus a GM book sold (finally!) and a return to RY craft (ordered 2 stitch sets from them instead of one and PO wouldn't accept the return cos the label was wrong)
Hugs to all that need themNSD November 1/20 :money:
Crap 1, Simple Be, Next, VANQUIS, TESCO, VERY, EMPIRE, ADDITIONS, HALIFAX C/C, HALIFAX LOAN, STUDENT LOAN
Make £10 a day in November £34.57/£450 :eek:0 -
Thanks for letting me know how it works.
OK, well I shall give it a go - plan to declutter the mess under my desk (work from home, so rubbish accumulates); empty the shredder; and take a pile of old magazines down to the Drs surgery. I will walk, as I need the exercise and get milk on the way back, so that will help declutter some lbs of weight from me and declutter some time, as wont need to go out later for the milk.
I figure if I start small, I wont fail at the first hurdle and so there's more chance of overall success.
Will call back later to tell you how I got on.Sealed pot challenge no 889: £143.96 saved :j

Does anyone know if it's ok to put a bin liner inside a shredder? Would make it so much easier to empty.Sealed pot challenge no 889: £143.96 saved :j
