But not for me...it moves to floor! But that's why I'm here!:o In fact I'll stop this right now and declutter my floor whilst waiting for supper to cook.:D

*goes to look up the definition of floor*

Was verbally told today at work that I am 'no longer needed', being paid a week in lieu, but very unprofessional IMO especially as it was done in front of other member of staff and not in private - one day shy of having worked for them for a year - bit gutted TBH, can't afford to be out of work. Therefore not in decluttering mood! In a 'sit and eat Carte D'Or ice cream' mood.

Sorry to hear that Magpye but you have decluttered the Carte D'or! I am sure you will find something soon but take care of yourself x

In: catalogue delivery from Very..of which I'm keeping - a pair of bedroom curtains, 5 jumpers, a top and 2 pairs of trousers. In my defence, they were reeeeeeeeeeeally cheap and needed! total was only £37 :money:
Small bag of shopping from corner shop...not venturing out in car but needed milk, yoghurts and ahem..chocolate

Also, new boxset of DVDs - Nip/Tuck Season 4. Bought with Xmas money, and I'll list on play or amazon once I've watched it. When they move programmes to sky channels, I seem to lose track of them, so I buy the set then sell them afterwards!

Out: :o:o:o:o:o:o Very little today...just the packaging from catalogue parcels. Stuff ready to go but I've had a real lazy day (apart from a runaround in the snow with DS earlier :D )

    Will do better tomorrow!

    Hi there

This is one thread I MUST keep up with for motivation this year! Our home is so full of cr*p it's shocking. I'm going to try little things this week, with the aim of tackling bigger jobs from next week. I'm selling some good maternity clothes & lending a few to a pregnant friend, & also giving her 1st size things my baby's outgrown already; then I may be able to see what colour my bedroom carpet is again! :D
Still need to lose a couple of stones after baby, so hoping that dejunking helps! DH setting up his own business & we need to be much better organised for that, esp as I will be doing some of backroom/bookkeeping work for him.

    Out today: nothing, except apathy!
    In: bread

See you later & hope to get inspiration from all of you x :j

Have had a slower week, decluttering wise, as I am back to work.....but I am still working on it, and am trying to declutter my office at the same time......

    So:

    In:
    • Nothing at all :T
    Out:
    • A cardboard box that I was keeping birthday cards etc in, except the cards were too big to sit in there without risking damage.
    • A damaged photoframe that I never liked anyway
    • A jumper that I wore for work today, and realised just how shapeless and baggy it was.......or is it me that is shapeless and baggy? Anyway, the jumper has gone - it is old and really not very nice, or even comfortable
    • pair of tights with too many runs in.

I've not been on here for a while however I am back now and planning a big spare room declutter at the weekend.

    Plan is
Take wardrobe apart and put pieces outside
Any clothes to sort into rubbish/rags/charity/ebay
    Sort furniture/shoes/books/cd's into similar piles
    List on ebay or freeshare
    Put all clothes away
Take photos of ebay pile and list
    Put decorations in the loft
    Tidy desk
Sort out craft materials and photo ebay stuff and list
    Take off wallpaper
    Take up rest of carpet
    Big dust and wipedown

That's all - a busy weekend in order!

I'm in - not least because me and the OH are broke at the moment. I have made a new rule where I can't buy any clothes for at least 2 months, however I can swap, remake or use money from items sold on ebay.

    In: 6 tops from housemate

Out: bunch of padded envelopes I was keeping 'just in case'

    It's a start!

Please may I join in with this too? I haven't been able to find out how it works yet, but I really do need some motivation to declutter. Would someone mind letting me know what the procedure is?
