If you haven't binned this already and there is still some usable bit's in there would happily pay P&P as my little one is always crafting!
Out today is a bag of books to the charity shop, a few bits of (I'm a shamed to say) past it's best food - but it was stuff that would have have piled on the weight if i'd consumed it!
In some half price Christmas craft stuff for next year.
A small chest with 4 draws, old fashioned but I saw something in it as a project... was £5 from Oxfam.. unfortunately I have lost it to the little one already!Trying to make a better life.... If you need me you'll find me at the allotment.0 -
Well, it's proving easier for me to find stuff to go to the charity shop, than it is things to throw out! I hate to think I am wasting things. It's struck me what a mammoth task decluttering this house is going to be!!!!
Today I binned the following:
1. A box that some nice stationary came in, the stationary has been used but I decided to keep the box to put things in. Well, it was still empty about three years after putting it in a cupboard.
2. A large pile of magazines found in the bottom of my wardrobe from 2005/2006!!!!
3. An old Argos catalogue from 2006.
4. Several children's workbooks age 3-5 (my DS2 is nearly 7). Some of the pages had been done, some hadn't.
5. A pokemon Annual from 2002, which had been scribbled all over, and had ripped pages.Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -
Oh, I need to join this thread - I'm bad for not throwing away, but OH is dreadful, dreadful, dreadful - he seems to have a mad compulsion to order holiday brochures and pile them up by the side of his bed! It drives me crackers.
Since I've been in a bit of a tidying mood today:
IN:
Homebase sale leaflet & voucher for double points.
OUT:
1/2 bag paper recycling from the living room table/hellmouth in corner of room.
Empty catfood packets left by OH in kitchen.
Pending OUT:
Collection of dishes to be returned to my mum after she loaded us with leftover food at Christmas.
Bag of books and clothes from sister to be eBayed/swapped.
Couple of boxes of glass recycling.
I hope if I keep this up, I might actually get the house tidy and ready for redecoration... fingers crossed!"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
