The Great Declutter Part 2

I haven't been on over Christmas and I come back to a new thread! Pleased to see everyone is getting on so well.
We were away over Christmas/New Year but when we got back on Saturday we managed to find homes for all our presents bar about 2, most things were edibile/bath related/books or dvds we'd asked for etc so we did ok!
Whilst we were finding homes we got rid of a big pile of Christmas catalogues and other paper too which was good. - only the recycling bin is full so we need to wait for next time to put it out!
Also did a kitchen cupboard yesterday and various bits for work were bought in today and other things recycled etc!
I'll be trying to post every day from now on to encourage my decluttering!Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I wonder if I should photograph the rooms as they are now and then end the year seeing what the difference is
Have tried that in rooms nobody else sees (i.e.) spare room and then deleted them in case anyone saw them on my camera, lol.If I had known then what I know now . . .

Umm not good this covers from last posting until now.
In: 2 X stain removing stuff as husband has got something on two t-shirts that i can't shift  Broke my no new toiletries got some clarifying shampoo.
2 X plastic boxes with lids from poundland. They are not huge but just the right size about 8 litres or so. They black with green lids. Not bad for a £1. Would not use them on stuff you need access all the time as the lid fittings to lock the lid are are a little bit on the thin side. But if using to tidy up cupboards or under the bed then they great.
Post in some LV's a seed catalogue and boots advantage card vouchers.
And mince pies in for my mum can't stand them myself
Out: A carrier bag of stuff up to my mums. And a carrier bag for the charity shop.
And one hardback book it was only a £1.
Pending out: Cardboard and plastic recycling. Need to take it over the tip. Does it count putting it in the boot of the car :rotfl:
I also was very good I tackled my big long cupboard in the kitchen yesterday that is why I have stuff for my mum and for the charity shop.
Only next target is the under sink cupboard. I know I have about 11 bottles of flavored bleach in there
