DH sat down with our 'Household Documents' concertina file ...two recycling sacks of shredding later we can now close it & I can pick it up without straining. Fortnightly Paper collection is on Wednesday so there'll be three bags instead of the usual one!
IN: 2 super-king duvet covers & 2 pillow cases (£25 total) that look good
OUT: 1 elderly s/king duvet cover (ugly green colour) & a glass jug to CS
De-cluttered the ironing basket :AI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
I've been concentrating on getting the living room straight (post decorating) this weekend, so not a lot of things have actually left the house - I've mostly been shuffling the stuff from the spare room to the living room. Found a few more things to list on Ebay, hopefully next weekend.
In
New toilet seat
Out
Carrier bag of recycling from general paperwork box
CD, jar of damson jam and vouchers to Mum
Pending Out
Two CDs and a scarf added to the charity bag
Carrier bag of 'sensitive' documents from paperwork box - will be used for starting off the fire (we haven't lit it yet this year, but have a feeling it will be fairly soon!)
Six out of eight items on Ebay have got bids, so these will be going over the next few days0 -

Only sold 8 items on Ebay, but every little helps, and the rest are ready to be re-listed on the next free listing day. I posted 7 parcels today, (including 3 quite bulky items) but can't send the other one till next week as buyer is away from home.
Not done much other de-cluttering lately, but I have listed some old videos on Freecycle, and had a very nice man came round yesterday to get rid of some wasps, which seemed to have taken a liking to the back of our house! The nest was in the brickwork next to our bathroom window, and I wasn't too bothered about them before, but on Thursday morning last week, I was just about to get in the shower, opened the window, and a lot of them swarmed into the bathroom:eek:! I quickly closed the window to stop more getting in, and OH got some fly spray to get rid of the ones which had got in, but could have done without that at 6 a.m, certainly woke me up, lol!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

How many books do you think one person should have? (young person who likes to move around a lot, but does like books
)
As I have about 400 which is way to many but I need some help with a target to aim for!0 -
tackling ds's room, and its looking ok - srill some painting to freshen up...
I sorted out our main wardrobe - everything washed and ironed, 2 big bags to charity, and 1 removy-air-type-of bag with slightly too small clothes to go into the loft for a bit. V glad I did, as have discovered the 2 of the studs on dh's need replacing, and have a dinner dance to go to next month, so plenty of time to sort it out, rather than mad rush, half an hour before we go !!
Its taken all week though, with the washing machine never stopping....0
