    Next weekend's things to do:
-Persuade OH to take stuff to tip/CS and put some other stuff in loft
    -Clean out fridge-freezer
-Buy extra shelving/storage for DS2 room and study
    -Weed and prune front garden.

    Update from last week,

not doing so well with my to-do list!

Have put a load of stuff in loft (only things will need again or really cant bear to part with.)
    -2 boxes toys
-4 empty cardboard boxes for appliances etc
    -Old hifi separates
I dont know if putting things in the loft really counts as decluttering as it is just moving things around!

    Also out:
    -1 bag textiles to recycling
    -1 broken drawer to bin
    -6 cushions to Freecycle
    -2 small rugs to Freecycle

    Still to do

    -Fridgefreezer
    -Gardening
    -Buy new shelves
-Binbag of clothes, bag of books, 4 lampshades and Tracey Island to go to CS. Will have to get the DCs to help carry it all!

Mainly been outside enjoying the sunshine but have managed to:

15 decluttered autumn lawn feed onto lawn and box into the recycling
16 emptied compost into new bed and turned remaining
17 used the last of donated apples to make an eve's pudding,
18 gave some jam jars to a neighbour (she gave me more apples)
19 a pair of holey socks to the rag bag
20 deleted loads of old emails

Just listing a couple of items on ebay now

25 items listed on E-bay (free listing weekend)
35 items of clothing into the the charity shop bag (well, now it's 3 recycling sacks!)
3 items cut up for patchwork.

I finally bit the bullet & dealt with the clothes that don't fit &, hopefully, I've also got rid of the negative emotions surrounding them.
Now I can move on (but not in the direction of any clothes shops!)
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

I had an IN on Saturday! A new unit for my dining room. It is a tallish (5ft or so) oak unit with 2 nice sized drawers at the bottom and a cupboard with 3 shelves at the top. It has housed all of my non get riddable clutter. Photo frame, lovely glass cocktail shaker and coasters homed on the top. Inside, DH's guitar music, guitar bag and his leads and spare strings etc. Table cloths, napkin rings, candlesticks and placemats all nice and neat put away. I still have an empty drawer and an empty shelf so will dig out the party stuff and other table linens from my lounge sideboard and hope to house them in there.

So happy with it, the mess has gone from a 2sq metre footprint to a 1ftx 1ft footprint :D

Got 84 items listed on EBay during the free listing weekend, got bids on 2 items already and a few watchers, so hopefully I'll sell some more. Got 2 items to post that sold at the end of last week, but I can't go to the post office until Wednesday, as I'm working this afternoon and all day tomorrow, also I'm waiting for payment on one of them.

    Hi,

I need to join again. I was doing really well and had hardly any clutter but i seem to be drowning in it again.

I sorted through my 2 Ds's clothes on the weekend and i have 3 black bags to go to the recycling place, 2 for the charity shop and 3 to ebay. I have so much stuff to ebay it's unreal. i've had 3 items end today, 1 sold and 2 didn't so they can go to the charity shop. I've got 2 items ending tomorrow and have listed another 5 today. I'm going to aim for 5 a day i think.
  • Evening all,

I decluttered the fridge yesterday (about 10 items at least). All out of date sauces n stuff. tried to wash out as many as poss for recyling but some were a bit too yucky....eeeerrrgh.

Doing flylady this week so will give the kitchen another attack later. This will be like a weather forecast....things look a bit miserable at the moment but we're hoping for some bright surfaces later.
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

    LOL @ weather forecast.
My fridge has suddenly filled up with jars of stuff - where do they all come from? I must admit I do ignore best before dates on a lot of things like jam but am pg at the mo so have to be careful.

my freezer is full to bursting with plastic containers of remnants. trouble is I am not sure when they were frozen (some of them are months old!) so I fear I will have to ditch them. I even have some h/m mince pies left from last Xmas and a side of smoked salmon bought on bogoff and forgotten about (I mean,. how?) cant eat salmon now and reluctant to give away in case toxic! It just seems the height of wastefulness to chuck away smoked salmon
