    Hello newbies,

Any form of decluttering counts - no strict rules here - its all about making your place ever better.

Some of us set targets - greent and me are both trying to declutter 150 things in June. But its all entirely up to you. But cannot express how good it feels when you do something even small like sort a drawer thats been bothering you or finding the PC in the study again.

I keep a tally of what I've decluttered this year and try as much as possible to find new uses for stuff or to give it away. Sadly stuff does end up in landfill but not before trying to use freecycle/freegle, rag and bone man, charity shop, recycling etc.

Right enough chat I need to find items 68-150 in June, wish me luck!
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

    hi

    can i join ?
as my house always seems sooo cluttered (my kids call me mrs trebus-life of grime) :rotfl:unfortunately although its fairly clean im not too good at throwing things / donating to charity as i always think it might come in usefull one day. anyway i've decided to sort out one small thing at a time ie one drawer/cupboard or corner of room and to try and be ruthless so far i've

1: sorted through old bills etc and shredded for guinea pigs bedding

resolved to do it every week so they don't build up

2: sorted coffee maker for charity shop - free gift from catalogue never used

3:thrown away out of date toiletries

4: trown away plastic tub lids as the tubs have mysteriously vanished????????

tomorrow i'l try and tackle a box of shoes under stairs
