Well, 50 items sold at the nct sale yesterday - out of 70 which is amazing!!:T

A couple of the other 20 will go on ebay - 7 saved for the next sale, and the others are off to a school fayre today !!! Hurrah !!!!

All the other boxes of stuff have gone into storage for the next 2 sales in September.

4 massive bags ( one a single mattress cover ! ) sorted from the garage.

4 carrier bags of stuff to todays school fayre. Will try to buy nothing but cakes !!!:rotfl:

Off to find the dining table for filing tomorrow before I go out.

    Hi All

Haven't been posting regularly, mainly due to my health - which is pretty up and down at the moment. Haven't been keeping track of my "IN" s as well as I might, but from what I can remember it's been fairly restrained. Most "IN"s have been vitamins & food & I don't log consumables as they're not something I tend to stock-pile. I think I just might have conquered my addiction to Charity Shops. (touch wood) I still go in them but I'm now capable of leaving them without buying anything . I can attribute that particular breakthrough entirely to this forum - so thanks very much. :T

It's nice to feel well for a change - I've moved stuff around in the kitchen / dining room & it looks a lot more spacious. Plus - I finally ventured into the loft today - it's pretty overwhelming - I really need to do a bootsale to make some headway - as it's quite hard to move around up there. At least I've made a start now.

    Since my last post:

did a major declutter of the bathroom yesterday - many plastic bottles went out with the recycling this morning.

Have started to cull OH's magazine store - model aircraft, computer, astronomy and cricket....with odd ones for rock music and American wrestling.

Most of these magazines are stored in bags/boxes and hadn't been looked at for years!

This will be the year I dump the clutter!

Its magazines that are the killer for me too - I've got rid of hundreds in the last year, and there's still two shelves full of them..... as you say, more culling is in order - they're a bit wild round here, tho, they keep running away :)
