Today 4 more boxes from the shed have been squashed and put in the recycling bin, a tin of hardened shoe polish has been binned and 2 more items have been dealt with and put in recycling from the paper mountain.
Monthly totals: General 54, Paperwork Mountain 44
So, a week into my challenge the overall total is 98 items however nothing more will happen until Sunday as I shall be busy with other things over the next few days.
Not only is this challenge helping me to tidy up my home, it is also encouraging me to do a few things off my longstanding "to do" list so a double result!Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -
36. 37. 38. Toiletries, more tubes used up, surprising what you use up when you focus on it rather than keep opening something new! (recycling)
More clutter gone from bedroom.
Tally so far: 38 gone from house, 17 binned, everything else recycledDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Out
2 carriers of junk and 1 carrier full of carriers off to nursery.. 2 more to go tomorrow!
Recycling all out for collection tomorrow.
Bin day tomorrow so I have removed some more of the tut from the front of the house.. I must ring the council about collecting the remaining stuff as it is too big to fit in my wheelie!
2 binbags of girls clothes sold on netmums today.. FLING! £35 IN
Divorce papers signedand returned to the court.. more bits out!
In.. I've had school uniform bits for DS2 and DD2, shoes for DD1's prom, Jeans for OH and 2 pairs of trousers for me which I need to exchange for the bigger size.. so much for 'buy your usual size maternity wear'!! GGgrrrrrr I'm not even that big!
I have 5 items listed on ebay.. 2 have watchers so far..
I best go empty the WM and see how my bag turned out..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I've had a bit of a decluttering disaster: I went up into the loft to start to empty it before moving, and there's practically the equivalent contents of my house up there
I'm absolutely horrorstruck. It feels like I've got to start all over again - even tho lots of it is useful in the new place - lounger cushion, insulation, etc. Hey ho
Still I *have* got rid of:
- 2 pieces furniture I was storing for a friend.
- piece of wood.
- 100s of polystyrene cups (recycling project)
Lots to go to the recycling centre, difficult without a car, but it has to be done.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi, I've done about and hour and a half on the paperwork and got rid of loads (still a lot more to do though). Also have big bag of clothes and some books waiting for the charity collection.0

I did a mad dash around the house after this mornings school run and filled the empty wheelie bin.. the half full one got itself the carpet from the boys room folded and squished in... I am quite determined to empty the front garden of gibble!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Up to:
39. Toiletries (really boring that my decluttering is just this kinda stuff but shows how much I have:o), used up, packaging not recyclable (bin)
Tally so far = 39 things decluttered, 18 sadly to bin, rest recycled/charity.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Got rid of one more thing from the loft - gave a corner display unit, made of oak, to a friend, for a car boot sale.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
