I want to get rid of some more rubbish this week if I can so will continue on my count down. My aim is for 100, so that leaves me with 80 more items..... Mmmm I will give it a go.
Happy de-cluttering everyone
Well its now Thursday and I've not managed my 80 more items yet :rotfl:.
I've been busy doing other bits and pieces all week so haven't had chance to de-clutter. I've worked in the garden all afternoon cutting back shrubs and feel all hot and bothered now so may have to have a cool beer to revive me! :rotfl:
I might have to make it 80 items in June as I want to achieve another 100 items asap.
175 items of cr*p have left our home since February, when you put it like that it doesn't really seem alot does it? However, that's 175 items of clutter that we can obviously live without and wouldn't have got rid of without everyone's encouragement on this forum so THANK YOU0 -
Evening fellow declutters,
Right...
24. Old jar of tartare sauce (bin, sorry too yucky to wash out etc, off too!)
25. Bag of rubbish from bathroom, count as 1 item (bin)
26. Box of not so Finest chocs, been open for weeks (packaging recycled)
So up to 26 things gone, 12 binned sadly. Must keep pushing tho, I want this place sorted!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I've been away from this thread for quite some time but now I'm back!
Have finally decided that I need to do a boot sale as even ebay and freecycle wouldn't be able to rid me of all I need to get shot of and I could do with a few pennies.
DS1, DS2 & DD have been away at MIL's since yesterday so have been on a mission to once again find the bedroom floor (it went missing again a few weeks ago...) so have been busily filling bins with rubbish and shed with boot sale potentials.
My problem areas seem to be clothes (still have some of DD's baby stuff), stuff like towels/duvets/lineny sort of bits (most no longer used) and old school paperwork of the boys.
Am now in full 'save it for the boot sale' mode so hopefully I will get carried away and be able to take lots with me.Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Im back on the case! Just had a new kitchen fitted so had LOTS of kitchen stuff still in boxes from our move that Id not unpacked. so here we go....
25 packing boxes and 3 boxes of bubble wrap being picked up by someone in work on Sunday as they are moving house (so a bit of recycling there!)
2 boxes full of unwanted kitchen items sold to someone else at work for £25 being picked up on Tuesday
Old back door been bought for £15 by yet another person in work, being picked up on weekend
2 black binliners full of unwanted and unusable kitchen items (broken or past best use) gone to dump and recycled
Old gas cooker taken to dump last Monday
Will have at least another 10 packing boxes available to someone else in work this weekend as we are unpacking the final room, the dining room, so they will be recycled too
Im quite pleased!0 -

If it isn't "bootable" or doesn't sell at the boot, towels & blankets are always useful for animal charities...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
