Some more 1/2 read magazines have now been finished and gone, a load of leaflets and other bits of "information" have joined them in the recycling bin, a bag containing a bizarre mixture of things has been sorted and a load of items put in recycling, binned or put away in the right place so they can be used up.
My totals from my 200 item challenge are now
35 from the paperwork mountain
25 general
I have emptied out my clothes chest of drawers and replaced the definite keeps - the rest are on the sofa ready to go through. Once these have been done I shall have a go at the wardrobe, although I don't think there's much to go from there.
I'll be back with my next report tomorrow.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -
Out:
Old mattress and pillow protectors (I managed to dye them an off grey and they just looked manky)
1 pair of jeans
About 3 tops
Bathmat - bought from Next not long ago and I must say i'm very disappointed with it as the colours ran. No more Next!!
All of these went into the textile recycling bank.
Pending out:
Wardrobe! The couple who collected the bedside chest at the weekend have moved over here for 6 months and needed stuff, so I offered the wardrobe to them as was putting it on freecycle anyway. They're coming to collect on Saturday.
I have gone through all my clothes tonight and have a bag ready for the charity shop with about 15 tops, 3 pairs of jeans, a pair of trousers and a skirt. I won't have anything to wear at this rate.
Unfortunately my bedroom inparticular looks a total mess as i've had to take everything from the wardrobe and until the new one is built there is nowhere for it to go!Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Oops, don't know what happened to the Bank Holiday weekend when we were supposed to paint the living room - it didn't happen, and neither has any decluttering!
Currently waiting to hear if I can take next week off work to paint living room, sort out the jungle of a garden and continue the decluttering mission...
In
Pair of jeans in a smaller size!
Pair of smart black trousers for an interview
Fairy lights, keyring, glass and book from sister
Three books from car boot sale
Black jacket and a selection of tops borrowed from Mum (for interview)
Out
Takeaway leaflet recycled. Yup, that's really all that's gone out this weekend, as well as the usual recycling
