    Hi All

Last time I posted was a fortnight ago when I bravely pledged to declutter 25 items that weekend. Unfortunately I then immediately came down with the flu & was laid up for days. Since then I feel like I've just been recovering & catching up (and working of course) and this feels like one of the first times I've been able to put my head above the parapet.

So no decluttering as such since then, just been trying to get, and keep, the place tidy - haven't been keeping track of "ins & outs" but from what I can remember:

    IN

    Fitflop type sandals for me
    Sandals for DS
    Grass trimmer
2 X lovely Footcare sets from Boots (reduced from £15 to £3.75 each) - one for me to do something about my disgraceful feet & one for a present.
Beautiful glazed pot for my Money Plant (bargain from TK Maxx)

    OUT
    Grass from front lawn
    Usual rubbish & recycling

Have got next week booked off work for my "Stay-cation" but I'm in too minds about whether to take the whole week off -I'll play it by ear & make my decision on Monday.

    Have a great weekend all...

    Please may I join in?

I would like to declutter 100 things generally from my home and shed including clothes, and a further 100 things from my paperwork mountain. I shall do this by the end of June, starting today.

    Thanks, Ocean

Managed to get rid of 9 bags the other day. Nothing since but it's all piled up ready to go. DH has used up all the plasterboard from the hallway so we'll have to get some more so that we can finish our ceiling. Then we need to reboard the landing and get rid of all the gubbins from there.
I worked last night so DH did the morning clubs with DS and DD while I slept. I'm off until tuesday night so hope to get more rubbish gone this weekend.

It's been a slow start, but I have managed to get rid of 4 newspapers and 4 half-read magazines from the paperwork mountain. 92 items to go...

Nothing from the rest of my home yet. I have worked out that to get rid of 200 items by the end of the month I will need to do at least 9 items a day - this takes into account that I shall be unable to do anything for 10 days during the month due to other commitments.

Hi everyone... haven't posted for a while because I lost my de cluttering 'mojo' however, hooray I found it again last week!!

OH has been away all week, I've to collect him later so that's maybe why I got so much done - ha ha!!

    Out:
100 - Old bath salts bin, kept wooden box to contain bits in the bathroom
    99 - Empty deodorant - recycling
    98 - Empty make-up remover - recycling
97 - Fake tan - streaked so didn't use it again - recycling
    96 - Baby Oil - bottle split - bin
95 - Old shampoo bottles with bits left in, now used up and recycled
94-88 (6) books passed to neighbour / friend
    88 - 85 (3) magazine passed to neighbour
84 - Empty paint tub - pending tip
    83 - Paint roller - pending tip
    82 - T-shirt with holes in - rag bag
    81 - T-shirt - charity bag
    80 - T-shirt - charity bag

I managed to emulsion our bedroom ceiling, walls, do the glossing and re-gloss the bathroom window sill. Washed the bedroom curtains and rug and I'm really pleased with the end result! Have moved my winter clothes to the draws under the bed and summer clothes are now in the wardrobe. Need to go through these sometime this week as there are a few items I could get rid of either on fleabay or to charity. I also went through the airing cupboard and designated some towels to the 'dog' as they're looking a bit tired and threw away lots of bottles, bits and pieces so now I can see exactly what we have!

Today I've mowed the front and back lawns, done 2 loads of washing, ironed and re-hung the bedroom curtains and the plan is to do some pruning later this week.

I want to get rid of some more rubbish this week if I can so will continue on my count down. My aim is for 100, so that leaves me with 80 more items..... Mmmm I will give it a go.

    Happy de-cluttering everyone :D

Wow inamin - am exhausted just reading what you've done - mowing lawns, washing, painting and decluttering. Feel v.lazy!

Did do some decluttering - my side of the bed, my toiletries and stuff. I filled a carrier bag with rubbish, was able to reorganise my make-up (and get rid of a few old items). So quite pleased with efforts. Going to put my tally of decluttering at 11 with 10 items binned and 1 to charity shop.

I'm going to aim for 50 items over the next day, focusing on the real frustrating areas of living room, stairs, bedroom. :D I'm telling myself this will be easy :rotfl:
