It's a discount chain, been around a while but new to us in South Wales. I was impressed by the keen grocery prices, & fell for Slumberland pillows 2 for £5 among several other 'bargains' the best being cupcake paper plates, cups and napkins (79p each or 2 for £1.50) for our anniversary tea party

last 2 days been pretty good
OUT (yesterday) 7-8xornamenty things to CS (found one in garden, not sure if had counted it or not lol)
2 x baby towels, Ikea hanging storage thing, USb cable, corkscrew, 6x rag items to CS
broken 4 slice toaster & old stereo system (not sure if working or not but didn't go on freegle) to electrical section at tip
IN (today) lots of plastic pots for garden (plan is most of them will go out with plants in tho lol)
blackcurrant bush
2 slice toaster
Dora sleeping bag & mini pillow - all from freegle (garden stuff one lady from allotment, she'd offered the pots but then when collected offered the bush too, other 2 bits from someone else) - one of my best freegle weeks usually give away a lot more than I get!!!
few bits food shopping
not done any more sorting tho today as been busy in garden, but have dug out loads of weeds to plant my new blackcurrant bush & sowed some of my Dig It seeds in pots put on kitchen windowsill (& 2 carrot seeds in a deep but narrow pot lol as didn't get round to clearing enough space for carrots as well), plus collected dandelion flowers again.... so I do feel I've achieved a lot!0 -
Morning everybody.
Yesterday's achievements:
OUT:
pair of trainers to shoe recycling
fair amount of paper/mags etc to the paper recycling box
Pending:
more stuff into the car boot box, when the sorting has finished we will do the carboot sale
one item relisted on ebay
In:
Newspaper (3/4 read and in the recycling box)
some plants for the garden (well I have removed a lot and given them away this week)
I'm choosing not to include groceries on my list (we do eat!) as they are a constant motion thing and I'm more of a use it up kind of girl than a stockpiler. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
