Just posting to try and motivate myself, really!!
IN:
DH bought the trellis and fixed both pieces up
My mum gave me 2 courgette plants, 2 tomato plants and a chilli or pepper plant (she mixed up the labels!!)
OUT:
Hmmmm - 2 packets of mixed salad leaves seeds planted
1/2 bin of compost used to earth up growing potatoes
umm...... empty bubble bath bottle recycled
As you can see, I've not done a lot!! I don't know where the time has gone today. DS3 has been a crying limpet for most of the day, so that's really not helped! Overtired and won't sleep - I've left him to cry, tried feeding him to sleep, cuddled him and even taken him out in the car
Done:
Chest of drawers sanded, waxed and decorated with stickers to match DS3's room.
Things moved from DD's (currently unusable) ensuite to DS2's room and DS3's room. ONly being moved if it's sorted, rather than just being moved 'en masse'

Well, 11 hours later, I have finished most of the tasks for today....
Got rid of 1 tank top, 1 t shirt, 1 hoodie, my housemate's pair of shoes, large tote bag, DVD rack, ukelele, guitar and 1 CD...
Bought loads of useful groceries for the store cupboard so even when skint I won't go hungry...think cuppa soup, pasta, pasta sauce, etc. I did spend money on a juicy beef steak though...not had one this YEAR. I am overall being a good girl though...money is tight and has other uses than frivolous things.
I am doing really well although it depresses the bazookas off me selling things I paid loads of money for, to get only 1/4 of the value in return.
Doing more decluttering tomorrow and also binned 4 bags of rubbish, plus the broken lid of a box and another box full of crap...0 -
Hi, ok if I join you? I soooooo need this thread! I found a declutter book in the garage at the week end amidst all the clutter (I know, I know!
) - anyhow it starts with a quiz to find out "where you're at". I took the quiz, then found my old score at the back from 7 years ago when I bought the book.....guess what? My score was EXACTLY the same as it was then (and it's a bad score)!! How depressing is that - I have not progressed AT ALL in 7 years!!!
So, here I am, determined this time to see it through. I have 5 kids now so it's not going to be easy but there is no way I want to be still cluttered up in another 7 years
At the week end I went through the lounge - threw out 2 sacks of rubbish and organised what was left.....it looks so much better already. I want to do something every other day. That's achievable for me, though it may not sound like much. DH is with me and he is going to do some too....wtach this space!
