Out: countless bags of rubbish to the bin, plus a tennis raquet and a bag of stuff to the charity shop. ALso 6 books sold on Greenmetropolis.com

Pending out: 93 items currently listed on eBid; if they don't sell, they're all going to charity.

To do: List the remaining 100-odd items left to sell on eBid and then if they don't sell, they're off to charity.

Pending in: An extension lead I bought and a TV I am considering buying.

    In: A new T shirt.

My freecycle bits were picked up so that's really good. Who's up for a challenge this weekend, of getting rid of 25, 50 or 100 items? If the weather is sunny, decluttering the garden counts!
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Me!! So far this week, already thrown away more than 100 things, and have 178 books listed on Greenmetropolis and 93 on eBid (can prove this by telling you my username is FlickeringEmber on both sites) and got more to add to eBid the next couple of days. :j

I'm up for the challenge although I may just go for the 25 items with the intention of getting rid of more (does that count) :D

Is there any technique to selling more books on greenmetropolis? I've listed about 20 so far and heard nothing. Some are at full price but a few are with discount, what seems to sell well flickering ember, any advice would be great.

Didn't achieve any decluttering yesterday as I went out on my road bike in the morning and then ended up being sociable all afternoon so I guess I will have to be more efficient today!

So far have done the food shop, emptied the dishwasher and cleaned the dustbin out as it stank!

Off to start my decluttering 25 items and counting! :p

I have sold loads of cookery books and a few language learning resources. If you have the latest books they sell very fast, eg I sold the newest Jodi Piccoult book within days of its release. Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw; I had some books listed which were in the top 50 but nobody just bought mine; I have 177 books listed now as I managed to sell a Portuguese language learning audiobook this morning. :)

I also offer 3 for 2 by the way, but have only had one person take me up on this offer so far.

Thanks for the top tips flickering ember, I have several cookery books to get rid of so I may give those a go. Will probably leave the other books on for a few weeks and if nothing happens I'll take them to a local charity bookshop.

Good luck mineallmine with your 50 items!! Still haven't started decluttering, OH finished work early today so we've been out and done a few bits and pieces instead.

    Happy de-cluttering
