In- 2 2 litre bottles of Diet Coke (I'm trying to drink less but it's my one vice- I don't drink alcohol or smoke anymore). Large bar of Dairy Milk which is intended to last a while!
Pending- lots of bits and bobs for charity- tons of empty containers, old makeup, photo album, various miscellaneous things which are going to mum if she wants them, then the rest to charity (every time I declutter the rest of the house gets it all!).
Also pending- lots of cardboard for the recycling bin.
Other- I put my RayBans I forgot I had (!) on eBay as I don't wear contacts anymore, and a cable from my old Macbook Pro which could fetch a few bob.0 -
Have dug out 4 pairs of shoes to get rid of. 1 pair need to be cleaned first. I've snapped up a huge pile of laths again and now have just 1 rubble sack of them in the hallway to be snapped up and burned tomorrow. The last bits from the lounge will be burned tonight.
I have lots to do tomorrow once the children are back at school. I need a big tidy and a big clean, top to bottom.
Hoover has been washed through so hopefully will be able to use it tomorrow. It's not been picking up very well if at all over the last few days so the house is a bit grim!
See you tomorrow ladies.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
not much done this weekend as I went to a wedding yesterday and drank about 7 glasses of champagne, as a result I have been in bed all day and have a loads of trips to the bathroom to give my toilet a big hug! although not having anything to eat yesterday has resulted in a very sore throat and stomach.
I had ebay bits finish yesterday and luckily only one person has paid so I don't need to run around packing them up just yet.
I sold a book on amazon yesterday (posted) and one today which I will post tomorrow.
I'll read all the posts tomorrow when I'm feeling better. I am never ever going to drink againMortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £130 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £146.14 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

Nothing out again as its raining and had a baking day. Will start again tomorrow after work!
So sorry to hear you lost your DH at just 43 camerlot1001. Oh my goodness that must have been so hard. Huge hugs been sent to you across the airwaves. :A Sadly my close friend lost her battle and so I need desperately to find a way to deal with the pain. One step is the continual declutter of my house (she was impressed when she knew how much I've been getting rid of). I normally mix and match the charities I give stuff to but at the moment cancer research and hospice charities will get everything. Absolutely everything.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Thanks for your kind words DC, I love your signature.:A
It's given my decluttering goals a stronger focus. My friend said to me material possessions aren't important. :A And she's so right.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Firstly, sending big hugs to Mineallmine and anyone else in need (((((hugs)))))

So sorry mineallmine. Big hugs to you.
Purple vamp, ewwwww! Hope you feel a little better today. Try to get some blood back into your alcohol stream!
Well so far today have deep cleaned the lounge including washing the windows. Inside only so far though.
Have sorted and folded all the non ironing. Going to do the massive pile of ironing shortly.
Scrap metal men have been round and taken loads of scrap metal- very happy for them to do this, saves me a trip to the tip and they get paid for it so it's all good. They could hear my radio but I was in the garden having my coffee break so I didn't her them knock, they were shouting for ages until they came down the side!
Once everyone gets home tonight they can put their clothes away and I'll be able to relax in my clean sparkly decluttered lounge. I've even cleaned the fireplace, how good am I?
Will update later, bye peeps xxDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
 Hi ladies, I'm back!!
Firstly big hugs to mineallmine my thoughts are with you, what a terrible thing cancer is. Big hugs to anyone else who might need them too.
Well, my kiwi friend has now gone although she'll be back in 8 weeks so I've a 'window' of opportunity to get rid of some more cr*p!
I've decided to do another 50 in 5 days as I wasn't quite feeling up too 100 in 10 just yet. Feel free if anyone wants to join me, I think the 2 charity bags through the front door this morning was my incentive!
I'll report back later today with an update.0 -
Hugs to mineallmine, that's awful news. I always alternate between cancer research and heart foundation as both my nans died from cancer and my grandad had it but recovered and my dad has heart problems (and give money each month to them by direct debit, only a few pounds each but I hope it helps).
This weekend I've done lots of gardening and the only things in are some garden related stuff from wilko and some wine and pasta from Tescos!
I've got a clearer idea what I need to declutter next - just need to be home long enough to do it now!Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
