welcome loopylulu, here's to that clutter going making some room for you and some dosh.
hey kaz2904, I've watched in awe at your posts. You're quite the builder's mate! A cut in the hand means...taking it easy.;)
shortbird, I've never heard of a bar boot. That sounds really civilised. what a good idea. bet the pub gets a few quid for hosting it too. :TDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Still going here! After burning all the trees/shrubs from the garden (just trimmed ones!), the bin that I burn in has lost its bottom! That's gone to the tip along with an old sink unit (tried freegle but no takers).
Apart from that a slow few days but getting there. Back to work on Monday so need to get going over the weekend.
See you soon!0 -
Okay, maybe the balance has continued to remain in the "recluttering" camp..
In - weekly shop and a couple of magazines
Out- A wine bottle from last night (prob not very MSE, do maybe doesn't count), lots of dog and pony hair (grooming marathon) and a pony feed bucket, given to friend, but that is a complete cheat as it was bought as part of the weekly shop (cheap at Asda though). Rubbish!
Pending- Struggling a bit with this- need to shift some furniture out of the garage but torn between selling bits (could do with the money) and freecycling it (would get rid of it quicker, but obv no income)
Also have an old, but reliable mobile I have promised to friend (just need to locate it)
And finally- need to sort out more random items for the tabletop/car boot. There is soooo much stuff I could get rid of, but am too emotionally attached to. Agh.

Out: Cardboard packaging to recycling, 2 letters delivered here in error put back in post box, used envelopes taken into work to be re-used for internal post.
In: Daily newspaper.
Pending: Another box sorted for charity shop, all boxes going tomorrow, & 29 items listed on Freecycle. Make that 39 items, forgot to list the 10 CD roms I had, now listed.

I've had to stop now cause I've cut my hand quite deeply and it won't stop oozing. It's gross!mineallmine wrote: »Who's up for working to a target of decluttering x number of items over the weekend?
Sadly I can’t join in as I have to declutter some alcohol at DH’s best mates wedding tomorrow!:rotfl:
MsHandfull ~ I rely on my DH to drive me to carboots (which he hates) not because I haven’t got my licence, it’s just that I haven’t driven since I passed my test…in 1990!!!

It's nice and clean, I cleaned it straight away and dug out the lump of wood stuck in it. Then I put back the skin and stuck a plaster on it. The plaster stayed on for long enough for the skin to be kept in place. It's sore and a bit swollen but it's no worse than the kids do when they fall over on concrete at high speed!

Out: Took all the charity boxes to the shop this morning, also found three bags of stuff in the shed that I'd forgotten about, so took them too. Had some replies from Freecycle, so possibly some more going later today.
In: Newspaper and milk.

Well had a good day today - my football team won and i enjoyed watching them in a sunny footbal ground for once.
OUT: Took back about £110 worth of clothes
IN: £18 worth of essentials from the body shop plus £90 off back to me!! :j
Going to work on a couple of drawers in my side board so can store my Yankie candles and get them off the dining room table.
Will also be clearing the kitchen surfaces before DH takes any more tiles off and covers them in even more dust!0 -
Just the usual bin/recycling out today but did pick up DDs bike from cycle shop - all the bits have been put back together so it looks a lot tidier!!0
