    You're all doing very well!

i've been making use of my week off by chucking stuff out

Kids playhut emptied of broken toys

Loads of broken plant pots out

1 over stuffed wheeliebin out for tomorrow

1 charity bag of clothes and about a thousand plastic hangers to be collected tomorrow

Tidied DS2s wardrobe and grown out clothes put away for DS2 to grow into.

Shredded huge pile of reciepts etc

Quite pleased so far - got another week off next week when I'll get really stuck in!

Well done everyone - the Spring Declutter Fever goes on!
Purplevamp ?! Adam Ant Memorabilia!!?? I guess there are some things that are sooo precious ....
I dropped off another bag at the CS yesterday and noticed it was really busy with people buying things (not me - I am trying for a one way stream of stuff OUT of this house)
    So yesterday
OUT Bag of bits to CS
12 lbs of fruit made into jam (so out of the freezer and into the energy non-using cupboard)
6 lbs of jam/marmalade in box ready to "go North" at the weekend
    1 cake ditto
    usual recycling of post, packaging
2 rows of pea plants from g/house to vegetable garden where planted out under protective wire (blasted pigeons and rabbits - grrrr)
chicken carcass made into delish soup for supper

IN Veggies for soup (our own leeks and carrots all used up)
    zip to mend OH trousers

IN and then straight OUT again
2 prs jeans for OH - he said they were too expensive for just jeans. Good MSE OH - it was extravagant but they were very nice "best" jeans ... trouble is he doesnt see any difference and would wear them to garden/climb trees/make mud pies.....
    Have another great day.

Well Anewme - at least you have taken the brave step to enter the tunnel!! But ... finding that whole Cath Kidson shops exist is not a good thing MSE-wise although looking (and stroking ...) cost nothing.
Lovely weather here again which really lifts the spirits. I ventured into the loft (to get bags down for our weekend away) and actually saw quite a few things that had me itching for my CS bag. So when we come back and the weather isnt good for gardening I will spend an hour or two making a start (by that I mean creating a hole in which I can work so that I can gradually tackle it. It really is just a conscience-salver - "put it in the loft" = I didnt need it/dont like it/dont want to see it but am too guilty to get rid. Like eating up your plateful (when you are full/overweight) because binning it is such a waste)
Grrr - sorry to ramble - Friday night on my own.

We had a power cut this evening at around 7.45pm, it came back on at 8pm just in time for EastEnders and after I'd lit loads of candles, then went off 30 seconds later for another 10 minutes!
