paybacktime2008 wrote: »Looks great Freaky-and have to say your house looks otherwise very clutter free!
ThanksI live in a 1.5 (!) bedroom flat, so don't have masses of space, so the smallest bit of clutter looks a complete mess
mineallmine wrote: »freakyogre - how do you organise your paperwork, bills etc? I find this really hard and never keep on top of things. So any tips (what organisers you use or methods) are welcome.
I [STRIKE]don't[/STRIKE] didn't either, i'm terrible at sticking it to one side, rather than filing it straight away. I have done it tonight, got home to a letter, opened it and left it on the side...why?!
The pinky folder is a hard plastic folder with loads of fixed plastic wallets inside (if you get what I mean) which i've put all my bills into in different categories. I've also stuck anything relating to tax codes/ P45's/bank statements. I'll probably need to get another in time as it's almost full now, but at least everything is together. I sorted all my payslips into each year and they're in the smaller wallets in the picture which are a perfect size
Anything to do with my car is in the concertina file with all the important stuff (insurance/MOT certificate) right at the front so it's easy to find.
I am still working on recipes as currently have 2 books and several magazines to go through and pick out what I like. I'm a bit anal with those though as end up typing each one and printing them so they all look the same in my folder rather than just sticking the magazine page in
Today I have decluttered half an easter eggOh and I took a book back to the library after work and changed my bedding. I'll go and wash up and give the kitchen a quick tidy before Masterchef starts
I'll stop rambling nowGrocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Didn’t post yesterday as I did…nothing!!!
Mineallmine ~ the cake is just a basic chocolate sponge cake with buttercream. I had used the last of the cocoa powder in the cake mix (DH had gone shopping by then so it’ll have to go on next weeks list) so I improvised and used chocolate milkshake powder instead. Turned out yummy all the same! Anyway, sounds like you've a a very productive last few days, well done :T
