  • Thanks mineallmine, unfortunately I've been let down so many times on Freecycle I've given up. I have an old fridge freezer that's been taken STC 4 times ! Am actually going to have to get household waste to come and take it and pay for the privilege too :(

Draws done - but I have to admit to some dithering about their contents. You know when things belong somewhere else you go there and find you need to declutter that first......

On the positive side it is all work in progress.

Go for it wendyphant! Be ruthless. And remember to pass any bits for charityshop, or friends, or freecycle. Or even leaving stuff outside your house with a sign saying free on them. That always works for me too.

    Best of luck.

Know what you mean about timewasters. I can see some people are adopting a tactic of offering things giving preference to those that collect that afternoon. Alternatively have you got a british heart foundation near you? They collect electrical goods for sale in their shop. Will find the link in a tick.

Going to work through my piles of paperwork this afternoon, I have all my payslips etc. in a box, but want to sort them properly and then forget about them.

I'm not one to quote myself, but just wanted to post that I have done the above :D I had a shoebox, one drawer and a big pile of paperwork to sort out, so emptied it all out last night and sorted it into piles.

Here it was all over the floor (it's not usually there :p) I took this pic to show my sister, so thought I may as well do an 'after' too!

and here it is all sorted out :)

Plus one bag of shredded stuff. I hope I haven't broken my shredder as it's not the best and struggled with 2 sheets of paper then wouldn't work, so i've left it for a bit and hoping it just got too hot :(

I had stuff dating back to 2007 so shows how long i've been putting it off for :o Ah well, all done now and hopefully I will keep on top of it.
