Yes, DS2 thought it was really funny, he said he had to go and show his Dad! I was only telling him the day before that they were getting too old and holey, but he said they were really comfy ~ aged 4-5 and he's 8!!:rotfl:
Not to worry purple, maybe something to check with your local charity shop when you're there, that they collect material/torn clothing like this. I'd probably label any bag - material scraps/ragman - to avoid them sorting it unnecessarily. The fact that they were well used and loved outweighs the landfill aspect now. :AMsHalffull wrote: »My de-cluttering this week has been mainly following through on my Marathon declutter last weekend & trying not to bring clutter into the house. Update for the week: OUT
Batteries to Boots for recycling (thanks Mineallmine - I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for you)
Camelot1001 - Your post made me think of the famous William Morris quotation -
If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.
MsH, that's great, batteries off to recycling rather than landfill. :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

I expect you all know this but my local Aldi has a recycling bucket at the packing shelf for batteries.
