Stitching Witch - congrats on you chicken vouchers! When you getting the girlies?
Anyway - super dooper sunny day here and got so much gardening done over the weekend - feeling really on top of things. Have just had a quick flip round this morning so here are mine for today (have lost count so am going to randomly start at 80 and aim to get to 100 by Wednesday at the latest!)
    80. Sugar bag
    81. Sugar bag
    82. Sugar bag - how can I have had 4 opened bags of soft brown sugar in the cupboard - now all amalgamated into 1 and the other bags binned
    83. Glass recycling taken away
    84. Plastic recycling taken away
    85. Paper and card recycling taken away - we have a brilliant recycling system - thanks council
    86. Brown bin of garden waste taken away too - this is all the invasive weeds and woody bits that wont compost or be eaten by the hens
    87. Emptied all the compost bins over the weekend and dug in the loverly loverly compost to make a runner bean trench and make a bed for the potatoes. Thats about 15 barrow loads (we have 6 compost daleks and 2 wooden bins)
    88. Ghastly old vest (OH's)
    89. Usual junk mail to recycling
    90. Packet of pea seeds (seeds sown, packet thrown)
    Stay clutter-free
No new stuff unless to replace broken items that are essential.
£2 savings pot (started Oct 09) £182 so far (£100 of which is banked)
Roadkill jar (found money) 87p and 20 eurocents
  • Looked in my attic the other day, should have known better - car boot for me in a couple of weeks I think, with a trip to the tip afterwards for whatever I don't sell.

Note to Self: Must remember not to buy anything whilst at the car boot!

Afternoon ladies and gentlemen (if there are any on this thread :D)

I decided I'm not brave enough to do the 100 in 10 challenge again at the moment :o so I'm doing a 50 in 5 instead as I think this maybe a more realistic target this time around. So we'll see how this goes....

Well done to everyone else you've been very productive over the weekend, Dansmum did you find Jaws in your spare room? :rotfl:

    Evening all,

Got rid of some cats bits to a freecycler. Yay. Once health is a bit better I will set myself another challenge, congrats to all those eliminating clutter! Every little helps.

Nothing much! We went to the cinema tonight and saw Alice in Wonderland. And in true MSE style we took our own 3D glasses from a previous outing (saving 80p each = £4) and took our own sweets :p. I'm not working tomorrow so hoping to do some more sorting and chucking. But I need to make a cake as I have some eggs to use up.

Think I need to start again as I haven't been on here for a few days and the decluttering came to a temporary halt while I concentrated on my sewing. I started a quilt for my grandson last Monday and was doing that. However, we've got friends coming on Saturday and as the house is in CHAOS (Can't have anyone over syndrome) I really need to concentrate on getting it tidy this week. Also went to my parents' on Saturday and, as usual, came home with more than we took! This time it was a box full of baby girl's clothes from her next door neighbour! (For me to Freecycle or take to a charity shop).

However, I did manage to take 3 bags full of stuff to a charity shop this morning, so it's a start!
