  • Hi All,

Hope you have all had a good day.
I'm doing quite well so far and the lounge feels almost minimalist !

    In

Bits of food shopping and wood for fire

    Out

    Magazine to Dad
2 photo frames to carboot box
    3 books to carboot box
About a million pieces of paper that my DD had scribbled on!
A rubbish toy with bits missing
    A toy bag
Lots of tubs of hard play dough

Need to start on the kitchen soon, especially the tupperware which I think reproduces overnight, I have no idea where most of it comes from and if I will ever find a matching tub and lid !!!!
  • I'm still managing to keep up with this and hit my targets today.
Yesterday, all that came in was the papers and out went a dusty lampshade, 2 empty paint pots, a cracked glass and assorted rubbish.

    Today -
    In - nothing

    Out-
    1. outgrown child’s bed –– freecycled
    2. outgrown child’s bed – freecycled
    3. Pink glass vase – carboot box
    4. Clear glass vase – carboot box
    5. Pile of old catalogues – recycling
    6. Pile of old magazines – pending rehoming
    7. Pot of 2001 blackberry jam – made into steamed jam pudding
    8. Plate – broken by dog stealing remains of the above pudding! – bin

    11. paint tester pot - bin
  • IN
2 pairs of Brand New thermal leggings from CS (£1.50 each)
Next Tank top for DS from CS
    Laptop stand arrived in post
Set of Walkie Talkies from Lidl
    OUT
    Ebay parcel in post
Gift for cousin's baby in post
    Book to friend

I was doing reasonably well until I popped into Lidl on the way home from work to pick up some food & bought the Walkie Talkies. DS & I have long talked about getting a "proper" set & the price was good but it did feel rather indulgent - especially as I'd just been reading "How I lived for a year on a pound a day" on the bus :o. So need to restrain myself for the rest of the week.

Mrs Moneypenny your "Life Laundry" book incident made me laugh..

First day of my new challenge today. Today's haul is loads of craft bits from the downsizing of my craft room, and some old crockery. There's probably over 100 things in the craft box, and well over 100 pieces of card too.

Amongst the craft stuff is ribbon, A4 card, A5 card, stickers, peel off stickers, buttons, envelopes, glue, etc. etc. This has gone to a lady in my village who is taking it for the Rainbows. I've offered the crockery on Freegle but no takers yet.

Nothing in today except 4 bits of post.

How is everyone else on this challenge doing?

Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
