1pm update
OK!
Broken the back of the bedroom, tidied, dusted, windows done, mattress hoovered and turned.
Just going back up now to tidy cleaning stuff away.
Bedding to launderette to dry on the way to work and straight back on later tonight!
This afternoon having a sit down have lunch and take it easy before work at 3.30.
Will stick a few bits on freecycle.
Have found 2 camera films and a disposable camera ???, so will try and find a cheap place to post them off too and send them this pm. Can't remember what's on them which is usually fun!
Going to try and track down a new bedside cabinet too as the drawers on my present one are driving me nuts!
So there we are....a good morning's work ..... I think I could do with my broadband dropping every morning from 9 to 12
Love Bron xx

hoorah!! I think we can all be very proud of ourselves! I'll be carrying on tomorrow morning if anyone wants to join me. Updates on the hour!0
-
Yeah! Actually I'll carry on tomorrow as I can't do Friday and it'd be a shame to lose the momentum!!0

I've been MIA for a while....but yesterday took a large case to the charity shop, plus a big bag full of books. Today two more cases (very ancient and falling apart) went to the tip. Plus about two binfulls of paperwork into the shredder. Well pleased with myself!Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
Thanks for all the good ideas yesterday, I have decided to devote an hour everyday till I get things looking a bit more like it should.
The drawers can wait till I have the walking areas looking better.
Last night I did the under stairs, I remember someone telling me to be brutal,, the children did not get asked if they were ever going to wear these trainers again, out they went.
Today the job was the kitchen counter, for some reason that had become a "dumping ground" for all sorts of "stuff" from broken key rings to post that I had kept for no particular reason. cough mixture from before Xmas and other bits that needed to be put away or thrown out.
I can see a difference already.
My main job for tomorrow is my bedroom, I know this sounds silly but now that I sleep alone the side that I do not sleep on gets filled up with stuff, from half read books to post, cosmetics, pills, sweets, and all sorts of rubbish that really should not be there.
So tomorrow night I may just have a king size bed all to myself!Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Great to see everyone doing so well.
Yesterday I tidied the teatowel drawer whilst cooking my tea. 22 teatowels (less than I thought there would be), my spare oven glove & a broken heater element from a now defunct washing machine! The heater element is now chucked into the metal recycling.
Also put a bag of bread flour into one of my new storage containers.
Decided this morning that this afternoon would give bathroom a general tidy & clean up. Have done so & looks a lot better.

Hi all
Sorry I've been AWOL for a time...I've been busy today
IN:
Meat - went to the butcher and got enough for the next six weeks or so. We don't eat much.
Paint tester pot
OUT:
Bag of rubbish from the car (been 'collecting' it for about 3 months now )
Rubbish and recycling
Manky old loo brush - don't use it any more as a squirt of bleach does the job (this actually went a couple of days ago...)
2 x celeriac (went yesterday to my sister)
Circulars...came in then straight out - no, I don't want a pizza leaflet...much cheaper to make my own pizza.
Pending:
Still have a huge box to go to my mum - seeing her tomorrow for the first time since Boxing day....usually see her every week.
There's also a load of stuff for my other sister, who still lives at home - wool, old cushion pads (filling can be used for toy stuffing) and I've gathered together all the DVDs she's lent us. All going back!
Charity bag (to go on Saturday)
Library books (ditto)
But, I'll bet mum will bring plenty with her...!
Hope everyone is OK?
D
