I would love to be joining you both, but have to spend my days sitting in an office thinking about the meyhem at home!!! It means I will have to spend my Friday evening and all day Saturday decluttering because I am expecting house guests on Sunday and the homestead is like a bomb site!!!!!
Consider you a$$e$ kicked back into gear ladies - I am so envious of you being able to do all this........0 -
Ok - 10am update! I've got all the paperwork from around the house (which took forever) and have started sorting it into piles for filing. Challenge for the next 30 mins is to complete sorting and filing to give me a clear floor space to sort out the rest of the junk!0

Wish I was at home to join in todays challengeBut tonight I am going to:
Make lasagne
Do 20 mins of exercise video while the lasagne is in the oven
Tidy living room

List clothes on ebay
Good luck to everyone who is decluttering and organising today! You will put me to shame0 -
I'm loving reading about all your efforts and how you're encouraging each other.
Unfortunately, I'm supposed to be 'working' today so no decluttering for me right now.
However, IF this thread is still running at the weekend, I'll be joining you ladies - I'm another who needs her asre kicking ............
Here's some motivation for you all, go girls0 -
quick update #2 - friend is popping in for coffee so will be taking longer break! I can see the study floor, which is progress! Have rediscovered vouchers I'd forgotten I had which is a bonus! Keep going - I'll be back to check on you once friend has gone!0

11am update
10 min tea break!
Still in the kitchen, thought I might as well do a thorough job and really make a difference, rather than a superficial sweep!
All units and furniture washed and wiped down
Some clutter taken to the shed, where I discovered my hyacinth bulbs were peeping through, so brought them back in:T
Fridge emptied and a good clean out.
Under sink re-organised and wiped out.
House plant leaves wiped:p
Chicken portions out, wings back into simmer for stock.
Doesn't look much actually for the time spent .........wish I could say I find it satisfying, but it never has been for me and I don't really expect it ever will be or I wouldn't be here, would I?!!:D:D:D
Back at noon.....must get the decs up in the loft, but that's gonna take me a while!! :wave:0
