Right, OH and I may be about to take the bull by the horns. I have seen an ad in one of my magazines for a charity walk up Ben Nevis in aid of dementia/alzheimers society. Obviously this has become part of our daily lives now with his dad and there may come a day when we need to call on the charity for help ourselves so I have come up with the idea of fundraising before hand. I love hillwalking and OH does once he gets out. He bought me loads of walking stuff for Christmas to shut me up but I mentioned this and he is seriously considering it. I may need the fitness thread as a bit of support. have just sent enquiry emails off to see if they still have places, fingers crossed.

ETA Sorry it is off topic.
