Very pleased that I have managed to complete numbers 2 & 3 as they were really bugging me! Now I can open the door to the study properly!!!

Had a really nice trip down memory lane as I had a drawer full off thank you cards from children over the last 5 years, I re-read them all and then said good bye to them and recycled them, some really touching words there!

Tomorrow I shall tackle numbers 4 and 5!!

Now I really need to go to bed!!!

msgnomey congratulations :)

I know the reality is probably different but I dream of living somewhere as remote & being snowed in/able to close the world out, if DP did not need to work of course.....how sad am I? My littlest wanted to go to Pooley for Christmas but DP had to work. Might be worth your boys keeping hessian sacks in the car, they are useful in getting out of snow/mud pickles we used them when I marshalled car rallys. Shovel too for drifts. I've tugged 4 cars out this winter so far, keep straps in the land rover all the time when it's like this.

Happy New Year to those lucky devils who won't be stuck here like me, not that I don't enjoy spending time with you all xx

Luke. Not impressed with his new bed....but he's in it which is a start. He's such a sulker.

WM on, TD on, DW on, dry load upstairs, few things that need ironing ***urgh*** to one side to do tomorrow. Bathroom isn't too bad apart from I've dumped the sheets DS2s just soaked in the bath until morning (saves smell/germs transfer onto carpets), think I might tackle some of the mould on the grout again tomorrow. Kids rooms, hmmmmm, been dumpered in, will get them to help tackle it tomorrow.
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

xmas-smiley-010.gifMorning lovely flyladies,
Jinkypinks - Hope your neck and shoulder feel better
LadyL - smooch.gif Thank you for the compliments last night and if I knew how to set something like that up, I would..
Rosepink - kiss.gif Hugs honey
Toots - hugs.gif
Pooh - wow, so much snow and we haven't even had a sight of it down here
Grateful - really pleased your AGA is back on
Polka - Great to see you and huge congratulations
I was called an angel yesterday on the Daily.. not sure I qualify for that but it did me the world of good to read it.
Started the inventory of food in the cupboards in the kitchen.. OH scrabbled around on the floor and I wrote it all down. Right at the back of the corner cupboard was the bottle bank! For two people who rarely drink we had a heck of a lot of alcohol in there. Have three bottles of Port as I used to quite enjoy the odd glass, but no reason to open one now. Plus two bottles of champagne - one from 1999 - have NO idea if it's still drinkable but may crack it open on NYD when we have our dinner and find out. Lots of wine, as clients often bought us a bottle or three so they just got stashed.
Hope everyone has a fun and safe evening tonight if they go out and that you all bring in the New Year with someone you love. (even if it's only yourself..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Ok, off to find my lists..
