Well I've read soappie's masterpiece, and I have to say I'm very impressed
I hope she wasn't checking her email every five minutes, as I was downstairs reading for a bit...
Greenbee, you're very kind and I thank you whole heartedly for your comments.
~sobs with relief, comes out from the corner, removes thumb from mouth and puts blanket away~
And no, I wasn't checking every 5 minutes, I managed to pace it to be every 10 minutes...
Your response has given me the will to continue on the same vein. I'll reply to the email in a bit.
Dinner decluttered and pots sorted.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

grateful I am pleasd they came up trumps for you, you had us all worried xx
Triker well done, lovely idea but it doesn't suprise me as we know what a lovely person you are xx
polka, I'd speak to school when you are ready, my friends little one had extra visits & stuff before term started incase she needed to start later but of course you need to follow local rules on when to start or register home school I think so be best to speak to them.
As for the timings, I had to get the wagon to go round the back while they got the van out as it got stuck in the ice, that closely timed!!
Must admit I love warm fuzzy feelings, I got one today when I got a hug for my sofa, madly some think I gave it away, not that old & not even used for 2 years but it went to someone who really needed it & deserved some good luck. The hug was worth more than any £ notes.
Sorry not done the days list, ended up going out to get pooch a new bed as he's got too used to being on the old sofa. He's in it now, seems to like it, but climbed onto the sofa when I went upstairs earlier. Think this might take a while but my fault for spoiling him. Tried to get some leather conditioner but was no decent one, will have to go somewhere better I think, going to have a look online for recommendations of which to use.
We've had a splutter of snow, hope it clears off tomorrow so DP can go to/have a half decent night @ work, been quieter & quieter every new year for a long time.
EDIT : Oh oh oh confession, BUT A MONEY SAVING ONE I am going to make a 'sale' purchase, DP wanted to buy 2 arcylic pictures done of our photos....priced them at £240-£320 so compromise, I need a better printer instead of one that does *pink* assignments & I need a scanner (DS1 sat on mine, you might remember that story) , going to buy a new printer/all in one/photo printer widget then he can do his own photos. Seen one in Comet for £99.99 reduced from £199.99, cheapest price on internet £149.99 with £50 off. So going to buy that. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Evening all, have been a bit lax today, gonna need a major kick up the behind tomorrow and you're all on duty!!!

Today went ok. DS2 will need another 3 teeth removing and we are just waiting for the date now. Hope there's not going to be any more toothache in the meantime.
I've almost finished Tuesday's list - just got to do the suite tomorrow, then I can claim my snowman. I thought the ironing challenge was going well for me (DH, that is), but I think I've got my work cut out now. He's normally off on Thursday, but will be working tomorrow, so I'm on my own again.
