Soappie, i'm sure the book will be wonderful. Would you like me to ask my Dandan how he found a publisher?

    Please!

I felt a bit bad about my fitness thingy post and if it is ok with everyone, would it be ok if I added my daily fitness thing (eg walked dogs for x mins) at the end of my flylady list each day? I will end up trying to read/do/update too many threads otherwise and will then lose interest.

I always include whatever exercise I want to do, in my own list....
There is nothing in my list this week, as I know I cant get to the gym, as its open, when I cant go, but from next week it will be a regular feature again :D

Been to Morrisons and managed to buy 2 bedside tables at £12.00 each from the £25.00 voucher wys £40, so added some essentials in the mix and bought the lovely shop assistant, who gave me her spare receipt, a bunch of flowers as a massive THANK YOU for her kindness.

She was really taken aback and chuffed so I'm glad I made the effort to be thoughtful.:D

Bought some buttermilk because it was reduced and now going to find a buttermilk recipe, any ideas throw my way.;)

So whilst out, my DD1 has hoovered the stairs and hallway and landing and tidied it up. Whislt not strictly something to take credit for at least some flying has occurred in my absence.:D

That was a lovely thing to do, with the flowers :T
I think sometimes at this time of year, everyone is sooo busy rushing around that manners are lost :(
In fact Triker, you have inspired me, for this years new years resolution... Thankyou :)

With the buttermilk... I made soda bread a few weeks ago... it was lovely.
I also made some banana bread.... very yummy

carlsberggal - I would definatley make him pay or even fix.
I know you said he is a lovely lad...
But you also said your DD does her own washing...
If it was one of your own that did it, would you let them not pay or fix it ??

I haven't really done any flying, other than take washing out of machine...
I need to find and update my list, as I am a bit ahead of myself, because everything was gutted Monday/Tuesday :D

I feel so much more in control now instead of fiddle farting about not knowing where to start and just moving stuff from place to place. :j

Not sure when I'm seeing him next but I will ask him

I've washed up and put assorted items into the recycling bags, dropped some left over rice on the floor, swept that up, realised how manky the floor is, threw away assorted items from the kitchen floor, cleaned worktops, sat down as was very tired.

The kitchen desperately needs hoovering but that will have to wait. I'm worn out now and want to go to bed!

DH still not home so better not go to bed yet, hope he's ok. He said he'd be home by 9, I always allow 30-60 mins on top of what ever time he says he will be back.

I'm afraid it is highly unlikely I will get all the ironing done tomorrow, tis DD's birthday and we tend to have visitors drifting in and out BUT I will set the ironing board up and try my best.....don't think there is a lot as I cleared the basket last Thursday, hope everyone else in the challenge is more successful xx

Good for you! That's exactly the point of this thread! I think DH needs to come on here, he supposedly tidied the table yesterday, when I went to get into bed, it turned out he had just put everything into plastic bags and put them on the bed! Ah well. The table looks much nicer so I'm not complaining. I will train him in our flylady ways while he's off work

  • has Amanda Holden had plastic surgery on her lips? Just seen her interviewed on TV and her lips are a very odd shape. I think it's so sad when people have things done to themselves and make themselves look strange.

    Evening all

We've been down to FiL for the day today and were very lucky with the traffic just taking us 2 hours each way.

I did put the washing on the maiden before we went and emptied the DW.

DH just has a few finishing bits to do in DS2's room tomorrow and then we can start moving stuff back.

I need to fly like the wind tomorrow as we have friends coming in the evening for new year.
