Hi everyone....I am just dropping in quickly on my husband's work computer . Our home computer isn't working and it may be a little while before I am back online properly again.

But I just wanted to share my good news....I've cracked my ironing challenge, I now have a clear ironing basket :j

Wishing you all a Happy New Year, hope to catch up with you all ( fairly) soon

Ironing?! I hadn't seen about the ironing before!

Does this include the 3 pairs of trousers that have been waiting to be taken up with Wundaweb for the last year?:o
That'll be the 'little job that you've been putting off for ages' ;)

Either take them up or put them in the charity bag. All they're doing is gathering dust at the moment...

ETA - anyone heard from Wilf since christmas?

Pooh how deep is your snow now?

    [

About 18 inches and 3-4 feet in drifts.

DB arrived earlier and stepped into drift up to his thighs but found water at the bottom so we are hoping it may be a thaw. He was very cold and wet too.
He has parked his van at a rakish angle on a road somewhere near here.

DS3 was let off from serious bother as he was stuck in another drift. He had to walk to a phone box and reverse the charges  DH told him to put floor mats from the car under the wheels and it worked.

I don't dare look at weather forecasts any more.

Am half way there already - did the ensuite and downstairs bathroom again before the arrival of my olds and gutted Adam's room last week as he's been sleepwalking a bit recently and wanted to give him safe space to be in - Princess Emily's room is altogether a different prospect! This is the daughter who once had a box of potatoes growing sprouts in her wardrobe cos she "had seen it on tv" and she wanted to check they were telling the truth! :rotfl:

    erm... does anyone have mice??????????

I used to have pet mice - but I'm guessing that's not why you're asking :p

And as I'm not a parent and I don't have any children, does that mean I can have tomorrow off ;):p:D (Apart from finishing the ironing!)
