I am sure you have already asked but get them to be on the look out for property for you - they may hear of something suitable. and get your CV updated and put on theses websites that greenbee knows about - and you can fly direct from London City to Dundee!!!! (would need a dog sitter though)
Remember to be decluttering as you clean from now on and be ruthless - it will make packing up easier. How much notice do you have to give to the landlord? You had better start saving as well as you may not get your deposit back in time for a new place - are you going to rent or buy? LOL I will get you organised!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Mwah!!! I love you Toots!!
I havent chatted through the logisitics with my aunt, but I have mentioned it to her briefly. I asked her where a property was that I was looking at, and she told me and asked if I was seriously thinking about it. I told her that I was (via email btw) but I havent had a chance to talk to her about it since. She has an 18 month old and another baby on the way so there are lots of things we would need to chat about as if I was to stay with her there are lots of other things which would need to be considered.
I need to give my landlord one months notice and Im not planning on taking the dog with me. So he will be going back to my mum when she comes back from Oz - he may come at a later date but definately not initially. Partly because I wouldnt be buying, I would be renting. So I dont want to be limited further by bringing a dog with me. Ive already starting de-cluttering. Babysteps babysteps xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

greenbee I had a thought (yes a whole one!) about your woodburner. Are you de-ashing it too often? Once a week does the job for ours, as a layer of ash seems to really help it to get hot.
eta mudbath sounds lovely. Did you need to skin the peppers, or was it ok with them left on?Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
jo I may be able to help with CV if you wish - edit out all sensitive info such as name and adress etc first. Have done some CV editing for HeadHunters - I have a chequered past!

Well the snow eased off so I went into town.
Discovered buses are on Bank Holiday schedule and routes, but fortunately I picked the right stop to walk to.
Town quiet and first shop I needed not open till Tuesday.
However managed to exchange two presents for more suitable versions :T decided not to buy a new airer - can use the present one with slight alteration - and got other shopping.
So home now and having a :coffee: to thaw out.
Next job really should be take down the cards - they are the only bit left.0 -

poohbear just seen some photos of Allendale which will be nowhere as bad as where you are & they measured snow on a car roof @ 13 inches! Poor collie dog, can the boys not clear a little for her to 'go' in.
Mudders wooop wooop @ making soup :rotfl: it is a life, a very nice one in face....I've not had butternut squash for years, I might get one because I can't remember if I liked it
kazm I'm with piggers, I would mention it too
ragz don't you be overdoing it, thought you were due soon, oooo all exciting!
crafty well done at not purchasing the airer
We also oddly had soup, not homemade unfortunately but not a takeaway either, DS1s realised he likes tomato soup after being force fed somehot crusty rolls were nice with it (sorry cheated as I had some part baked ones in) but a wholesome lunch.
We too have had more snow, it's never stopped since about 6am that I know of. DP unsure if he's going to work yet, I don't think he should but he might. I was going to go to the shop but wondering if I can wait, main concern is having stuff for DS1s school packed lunch on Monday.....that's if school is open. I think I will have a rake about and see if we can make do until Monday. I know spag bol tonight, have all that in. Might go tomorrow as we have to go out to run DPs club anyway.
Oh can I please have my Wednesday star now too, a complete week for me wahoooooooooooooo!!! First full week since we moved. One day I might be more organised...........

I have put my carrots, peppers and mushrooms in the slow cooker with a jar of curry sauce lurking in the cupboard, so dinner is sorted.
I have had a phone call from Oz from my mum and sis and they are both ok and having a good time. Must must must get on with my meal planner now!!!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

I cant bear this snow. It's now 11 days in a row. There is a weather warning out for Tuesday. 20 cm of snow due in Central Scotland/Northern England. Was thinking about you on Wednesday pooh as we diverted of the M6 and tried to be smart and go up the A6 at Shap to avoid the roadworks. We have run out of grit and salt, so are struggling to keep on top of things.
I have chocolate torte for sharing as my lot were more interested in drinking rather than eating yesterday  OK...I'm going for a lie down on the couch to watch Soccer Saturday (COYB!!)0 -
