Visitors have been fed and have now gone as it's now snowing thick and heavy here. We're going to see the pantomine tomorrow with 3 of DD's friends for her birthday so I hope it's not too bad.

Anyone fancy a HHC 1.45 - 2.15 so I can start to clear up the mess!

I'm up for an HHC with you - have done nothing this morning apart from spend half the morning on the toilet (mild nut allergy kicks in again) lounge around and have a bath!

Dh has been very good entertaining the kids and keeping them out of my way but need to get on with clearing out my car, the porch, our bedroom (where I started decluttering clothes yesterday) and then onto schoolwork.

Am just going to put kettle on quick before I start :rotfl:

Jo I can see your mind is made up so i will have to give in:o def a job first - could your Aunt put you up for a short time if you got a job and no house? I am sure you have already asked but get them to be on the look out for property for you - they may hear of something suitable. and get your CV updated and put on theses websites that greenbee knows about - and you can fly direct from London City to Dundee!!!! (would need a dog sitter though)
Remember to be decluttering as you clean from now on and be ruthless - it will make packing up easier. How much notice do you have to give to the landlord? You had better start saving as well as you may not get your deposit back in time for a new place - are you going to rent or buy? LOL I will get you organised!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
procrastinator - glad you are feeling a bit better - keep up with the fluids to make sure you have got fully rid of it. You need to start introducing DD to the dreaded housework and tidy words:rotfl:
wilf hello honey - we were wondering where you were - Happy new Year and i hope its a good one for you especially but the family as well and that H has a great golfing year. Now dont go off like a mad woman until you feel a bit better - take a day or 2 to get back into routine - I know exactly what you mean about feeling your house is shabby when you have been somewhere else - I am lucky that I have now managed to get it looking good and I know you will too - dont try to do the whole house at once - pick whats bugging you most and work towards getting it done. Have you asked on freecycle for paint? You are such a whizz with the ebay/amazon that i know you will succeed xx
ragz how lovely to see you and congratulations on the iminent arrival - you had better be careful and not over do things or I will be shouting and flinging pigpen's mules at you:rotfl: I think as you said the bedroom is a priority!!! Have you a spare room that the baby's clothes could go in or could you put a drawer unit/wardrobe in the hall?? try to think of somewhere to put them as it will help with keeping the place tidyish!!!
brummiebabe sorry to hear you have to put the house back on the market - but its nice to see you - hope you get things straightened out before the hoardes of viewers arrive!
well done courgette - you will soon be addicted like the rest of us:rotfl:

    I have emptied the bin
    S&S the bathroom
put load of washing on the airer
    put load in WM
    defrosted and eaten HM soup
    decanted some toiletries
answered emails, pms and phone calls.

now as its clear I am going to get ready and go and do my bits in town

will be back later and do stars

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Well the binmen didn't make it, there in the hedge down the road. All farmers (thats quite a few round here) been down with tractors to see if they can pull them out but no luck. Hubby said he was standing on the tractor that was trying to pull them out and the tractor was just spinning and going side to side. They even brought sand and grit down but no good either. Roads are suppose to be unreal, totally ice, can't even stand on the road. I really need to go to the shop at some point aswell.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Eeek...sorry I've not read the thread. There's pages since I last posted but lots of hugs to you all.

I'm very proud of myself! Until about two months ago I didn't eat soup. Just didn't like it. Anyway, I had some (not sure why) about two months ago and loved it. Since then I've had it a few times (there is a point to this post, honest :rotfl:). The big news is......:rotfl:........:rotfl:......I've just made my first pot of homemade soup and it's quite nice! Butternut squash and red peppers. I'm very proud of myself :rotfl: {Mubath reminds herself that she really needs to get a life!!}:D.

Right, I'm off to walk the dogs. I am going to get fit and healthy this year though that's not my New Years Resolution. My New Year's Resolution is this..... I will not drink Guinness! :D{Can't stand the stuff so I know I'll be successful}:rotfl:.

Ok, dog walk then HHC. See you laters xx
