Have you a spare room that the baby's clothes could go in or could you put a drawer unit/wardrobe in the hall?? try to think of somewhere to put them as it will help with keeping the place tidyish!!!
toots xx
Thanks for the welcome Toots. No spare room (2 bed bungalow, already filled with me OH and 2 toddlers) and the boys are too young for bunk beds for a while so there is NO room in their bedroom for baby cot or even her clothes! Hallway is only just wide enough for me to waddle down lol so no hope there! There's just enough room to squeeze a Moses basket in our room at the moment, clothes will just have to be stuck under our bed (once I've decluttered that, but of course can't lift the darn thing at the moment!) for now. Think we'll be moving next year! (Only just paid off debts from last time we moved which ended up VERY expensive because we had to pay rent on the old house for 5 months, long story - mostly my fault)
Flying wise, I did at least get the dresser area in our room cleared for midwives to use as a table during the birth and I can see most of the floor now. Cleaned the toilet, kitchen looks OK so I think I'll have a break now. Returned the slippers, only £6 but better than nothing, though I did feel really car sick the whole way as had to go in OH's car and it's a bit agricultural! More tea required I think, then I'll make some listslike what really really needs doing before baby arrives and ways to spend less money so we can afford to move again.
Mudbath - well done on the soup, it can be a daunting thing to make

Smartie, I'm in Devon too, and we have a little, just enought to look pretty, but not enough to build a snowman with.
Trying to declutter dining room, there is still wrapping paper on the floor!!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Need to update my list but managed to do a few useful bits in town: buy mine and DH's monthly travelcards (that's £200 gone!), pay in some cheques and pick up my parcel. Then we had lunch out and I did some food shopping at M&S (had £5 off £25 voucher and was careful what I bought!). Meals now planned in my head but need to write down.
DH has put the tree away and recycled cards plus dysoned through.Another load on the airer and dry stuff folded. 2lb mince defrosting and will do lasagne for dinner, one for freezer plus spag bol for freezer.
One of our new years resolutions is to have the TV on less so currently have some music on and DH is reading and me on here.
jo i will pm you later.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Thursday ~ the bathroom! Done!!:D:D:D I joined the HHC from 3-3.30.
Level One..
Level Two
Level Three
... but not the kids' rooms - they can do their own. DD had done hers, then it's all descended into chaos again. The boys have been asked almost daily to sort theirs, as I intended to do a bit of decorating in there, and get some bits finished (much needed bookcase), but they haven't done a thing, and my cold has discouraged me from doing anything. Ah well, there's always halfterm!
I have done some planning!!!to all the other teachers! I still haven't finished though...
I thought my cold was better yesterday, but really feel yuck again today. Apart from picking up the paper and some deli bits, I haven't been out or done anything. We were supposed to be going to London for the day, but I cancelled.
:coffee:Anyone?? Then I'll do a bit more work. I don't want to spend all day tomorrow doing it. I do want to get the decorations down - although this year, the tree has looked so pretty that I'm reluctant to pack it away, but it'll be easier to do it before term begins. Then, a quick whisk round with the vaccuum, and I'll have a bedroom star as well (quite a few Christmas bits in my bedroom!)
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Since my last HHC I've been making Lego models with DD - lil-me did you say you had bits missing from you Mirror Lego - as I've got a couple of bits missing from mine.
Bad news here though is that the boiler's broken down so no heating - apart from the fire in the LR - and no hot water.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

kaz what a thoughtful young man you have, I am sure his friends parents won't mind having such a lovely young man to stay. Oh & MrA it depends what you put in the trolley!!
Axey we had our first non real one for a couple of years, depends what you buy but I never found them a huge problem until we dragged it out of the house!!
holly see you got it done, once it's done you will feel better for it, well done
Jo well done, that will save you loads, I should shopping plan based on what we have in, must do that later you have inspired me
Oh rach you got me wanting lasagne now....I might have to transform my spag bol if I have the stuff
juliejim no it was power miners/indiana jones sets we bought but ordered spares online
Sorry took me an hour & it's not finishedbut there is a bol sauce on the hob cooking, DW, WM & TD emptied, refilled and on. Benches are clearer but I need to put more in the DW. 3 bags of rubbish inc recycling filled.
I wanted to get the decs down but the bag is in the garage & neither of us want to go down therenegative to it not being attatched to the house. Cards are down apart from 2 I just spotted out of my reach, must be DPs. I must remember to time each wash on the DW, I keep putting it on not knowing when it will be done which I hate, should have got one with a timer. Actually I don't really hate it, I was moaning it's awkward to load being a larger settings one but the bottom baskets thingy moves & I can even get my SC pot in there with my big pans, not had to handwash any pans...
Oh TD just finished, suppose I should get up & do another HHC .... see if the looney is going to work which will be the decider on lasagne or bolognese...One day I might be more organised...........
