Mudbath - well done on the soup, it can be a daunting thing to make

Thanks Ragz and hello . Even my DH was impressed with my soup (and surprised!:rotfl:)
    I did, although I didn't realise I had IYSWIM.

Anyway that's the last of the 'decs' gone and some other bits decluttered as well.

Thanks for joining me! I enjoyed reading all the cards again and making sure I was spelling people's names right etc from my list!

Mudbath Well done on the soup. Great for weight loss if you are doing the challenge!

Yes, I've just joined the challenge today! I've just been very good and decluttered some left over ham from yesterday but I had it with only two of the potatoes (roasts!!!) instead of the usual 100!:D. Also had lots of veggies and ate it really slowly so I couldn't eat it all. I will do this!

Tilli-tot - I read that as your DD having kidnapped a police man (PC) and thought you were terribly calm!!

Nicki - hope your dd is feeling better soon xx

Julie-jim - hope you can get your boiler working soon. Wrap up warm xx

I've done two loads of washing and done half an hour on the wii fit. Stripes weighs 3 stone 12lbs (what a weird new feature on wii fit plus - to be able to weigh your pets). She seemed quite amused though!:rotfl:

I'm going to think about a hhc but we're going out to our last party tonight so need to get ready for that.

Hugs to you all and  to the new people posting on this thread xx

    Happy Birthday JulieJims DD xx

Have done nothing today....went to Pizza Hut for DD's party, they all enjoyed and DD has gone out with DSD for an hour so I have P+Q.
Lucky really as my head still feels like it is full of cotton wool....2 weeks now, that should be long enough for a head cold surely?

No point looking at the list as nothing more has been done from it. I may look at it tomorrow, or I may not!!!!!

Love and hugs to all in need xx

LL - your secrets are safe with me (I'm safe telling you all this because LL never reads the small print - don't tell her I told you but it all involves a giant inflatable hammer, a jar of pickled herrings and a CD of chaz and dave (let the rumours start!!!)) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Tilli-tot - my soup was very orange but I guess that was the butternut squash:D. I'm making carrot and parsnip soup tomorrow - wonder what colour that will be!:rotfl: Maybe we could make money selling our 'book of orange soups!':T

Right, hhc now happening! 6 until 630 xx

Since I last posted I have done nothing constructive other than get the fire going and put out some of the new pot pourri I was given for Christmas. Some is rose buds, rosepetals and lavendar, and another it oranges, cinnamon sticks and chillis. Both are delicious :D. Orange one is in the hall, rose one in the living room, and I think the rest of the rose will be in the bedroom ;) (for me to enjoy on my own :p)

As I'm not getting anything done, I think I might just go and sit down and read a book in front of the fire. At least that way I'm not pretending to try to get stuff done.

Oh... I've bought some new calendars... one to arrange my social life on (Froddy... we need to work out when we're going to do all these walks... we'd better book one in for Jan otherwise we'll never get going!) and another one that I can put work, exercise and meal plan on and keep out of sight of any visitors... :o everything is in my blackberry/work calendar, but sometimes its good to have it somewhere more accessible. Meal planning will be done later/tomorrow. I've stocked up on pretty much everything today, so I should be able to manage with the odd trip to the village shop/farm shop/butcher. And I bought new BPA-free plastic boxes so can get rid of some of my millions of food boxes (rach ... and anyone else who is interested ... they're in TKMaxx... I'll dig out the details for you and post them later).

    Off to be lazy...

Hi all, I have decluttered some of my vegetable curry from the sc with some cous cous and a small naan bread......it was sooooooooooooooo yummy!

DS (Age 7) and his little mate took one look at it and had fish fingers, mashed potatoes and peas. Just as well really as it was a bit too hot for them!

Last load of washing in the machine, another lot up to dry - had to get the airer out as there are no radiators left! Filled up the sink and cleared the table so will do those in a minute.

I have done my meal plans for the next few weeks and shopping lists to boot so Im going to clear the pinboard in the kitchen and stick them up!!!

I am also going to iron littleys school uniform tonight and want littley off to bed early.

Off to clear up the tea dishes which are soaking in the sink....
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

This was the BPA free stuff I found... in case anyone is interested... (I also got a kingsize goosedown duvet for my spare bed... which I should really have left at the cleaners to be washed before bringing it home, but it was a bit busy...)
