I got a box from Asda, only cost £2 and it carries about 16 cupcakes, they would fit another layer in but obviously can't do that if they're decorated.
There are several posts back, I cant remember who but they got plastic cake containers and put them inside a LARGE storage box like the under your bed type............. looked ideal for going to marketsSaving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -

That'll be me!I opted for http://www.ryman.co.uk/0161207220/Really-Useful-Box-20-Litre/Product combined with boxes from http://www.cater4you.co.uk/acatalog/plastic-cake-containers.html for stability. Works out a lot cheaper & the container has enough height to cope with even my tallest cupcakes
Ends up looking like this: http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb268/Socialchemistry/cupcakes/selection.jpg (I can fit 40 at most per box)Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00 -

Thank you for this that's really handy as these plastic boxes can be sooo expensive!!
I am so happy I have decided on my business names I'd love to know what you all think it's called 'With Cake'. I liked it as it's kind of a play on the saying 'with love' and I thought it was a bit catchy and not cupcake specific for the future. Would love your honest opinions!0 -

I have not been baking to sell, so i look for tesco deals and buy my stuff then. plus I like their flour, the moment any on sale or on offers i get them. Cupcake cases, someone recommended some a few pages back, avoid the Dr Outeker, they show the grease and case turns transparent. If its equipment, Lidls have some on tomorrow on their offers.
hope this helps a little.Saving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -
