My copy of Mich Turners Cake Masterclass arrived this morning, its a lovely book, well worth the £15 (half price on Amazon) that my OH paid for it. Im looking forward to Lindy Smiths book but its not out until the Autumn.

  • does any have any advice on where to buy boxes to hold 12 muffins/cupcakes, iv just sarted out so dont really want to be buying hundreds as I dont have the room or money. Probably want to buy around 30 but would like to get the boxes for around £1 each, do you think this is possible? x

http://www.cupcakeboxesuk.com/ sell individual boxes, I don't always find them the cheapest though as the postage is quite high.

I get most of mine on ebay or from a local shop.

Here are the cupcakes I did for my friends daughter. They were my first attempt at 'proper' cupcakes.

  • i think this thread is great. all lovely baked goods and decorations.
I recently have become addicted to baking- I bring my resulting products into work- a good home for them.
What I wanted to ask was- I have found the hummingbird cookbook cupcake recipes work well for me.... if i wanted to sell them could i use this recipe or do i have to make my own up.... whats the regulations surrounding this?

Ive tried to find decorating classes in my area but no luck yet even posted on the local mse boards for classes- no response as yet.

I got two carboard boxes from ebay. I see the seller does them in larger quanties 10, 20, 50 etc. I caluclated inc package 50 boxes would be £69.00 working out at 1.38 per box.
I dont know if im allowed to post the seller name but pm me and ill fwd on. Going on the two boxes I bought they are strong and good quality and come with insert. hth
