I will point out first that I really don't know about this, but my instict would be that producing them on request to fulfil an order would be fine, but I would just be wary of advertising them...
It seems to have gone a little quiet in here. How's everyone getting along?

Unfortunately Helen this is still considered a big NO. We have a member of the guild who was fined for doing a bottle of J@ck D@niels.Theres a lot of debate that still surrounds the use of the Wilton tins because of this.If you are accepting payment for D/sney for example (or using it to encourage payment...you might be found to be infringing copyright. There's so much around it that generally the guild advises against it.
There have even been discussions around reproducing designs found in cake decorating books.
The jist of it is if you do it-its up to you.Personally,I dont do character stuff unless its for friends or family and I am absolutely certain it wont encourage business. Its a very tricky debate.
As for what we're all up to...Im doing a cake for a little girl who's turning two on Saturday...her mum has been taking my DS1 to and from school whilst Ive not been able to,so its my way of thanking her.0 -

Ive got a cupcake carrier too, i was just worried about keeping them level so the buttercream doesnt slide, what with jostling with people on the underground. I cant say who yet but my cakes are for a co-presenter on a shopping channel who works for a skincare brand. she is a friend and im so excited, its going to be a great day tomorrow. pics will follow.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -
I got a cupcake courier, I ordered it on Wed Afternoon, and it was here on Thursday morning, so impressed with it. I have an order for a friends wee boys party. 24 cupcakes. Im going to make 36, 12 can go to the office. They are happy to pay a quid for them

Just wanted to say good morning and hope you all have a good day.I have a sick four year old at home who's now been banished from the kitchen...so lots of Mediscrub going to get used in our house. Still haven't coloured up paste or done blossoms but my choc HD did come out the oven in perfect state yesterday.
And I have a few orders for today for cupcake images,I'm not sure if I'll get them out today so I'll leave them to last...if I have time to edit tonight before bedtime I'll do so and DH can post them for me while Im at school tomorrow.0 -

Sorry I haven't updated for a while, i've been so busy
I'm booked on my first wedding fayre in a couple of weeks, last year they had 150+ brides through the doors (this isn't including the grooms, mothers, sisters, friends etc) so it sounds like it's going to be quite busy!
Does anybody have any tips? I haven't had a stall anywhere before and i'm a bit nervouus!
I got some professional photos of some cupcakes taken to make my website look a bit better, what do you think? (it's the first 8 pictures)
