Not done or bought anything for a while, been waiting to see if I can make some money on eBay to pay for the remaining presents though i've bought well over 50% of my list already. I'm trying to hold out until at least mid November until I start wrapping them up so I can do it to some Christmassy music and get in the festive spirit.
Still waiting for a pair of earrings I bought off eBay for my niece to turn up :S that and a book for myself, I hope my neighbours haven't been pinching my post!Overdraft- [strike]£500[/strike] PAID! Computer Loan- [strike]£292.67[/strike] PAID! Credit Card- £369.00 PCDL Loan- £6664.800 -
I went for a little look in Thornaby Home Bargains just to kill time so didnt pick up a basket and ended up buying loads. Managed to get for my nieces then thin plastic watchs that the kids seem to be wearing these days and also managed to pick up a couple of smelly Gillette sets for my brother and brother in law as a daft wrap up for £3.29 which were a bargain. Went into New Look and they were reducing their sale stock again so picked up some leggings and a top for £4.00 for both for my elder niece. I am taking my 12 yr old niece shopping to Newcastle tomorrow as a girly day so hoping to pick up some more bits.0

Hi everyone! :hello:
Just come back off holiday and picked up a couple of pressies while I was away - I happened to wander into a small arcade in Falmouth and there was a shop there that sold DVD's. I picked up the box set of Rising Damp for my Dad for £15 which I'm so pleased about! Yes, I know I could buy it cheaper on Amazon but here's the thing. Dad is virtually deaf and so needs DVD's with subtitles, which frankly are as rare as hen's teeth, especially in the older shows as he likes. I was quite happy to pay a few quid more and be able to see it definitely had subtitles... he;s so hard to buy for so I was so pleased to be able to find something that I know he will love.
In BHS in Plymouth they had a lot of their drinks gift sets reduced (you know the ones, miniture with glass and chocolates) so I picked up a Di Sarrano set for best mate, reduced from £12 to 6I'm nearly finished now - have just got mum and nephews to buy for (OH is getting his nearer Xmas - have got a strict time deadline on the rest of my family's due to Xmas pressie run being v early this year!!!)

I had another productive weekend. Took my niece shopping to Newcastle and bought my nephew some aftershave from t j hughes and my younger niece some tinkerbell socks in a lovely gift box. Also my niece chose some clothes to put away which is easier than me choosing her some as we have very different taste. Went out today and managed to get her some straighteners which were reduced to half price so just need to update my list and then figure out how much closer to finishing I am. Then I just have the job of wrapping them up which i really hate.0

I thought I was organised until I came on here! Today I have made up my Christmas spreadsheet. I have bits and bobs dotted all over my bedroom so I'm going to have to get everything rounded up. I have bought some small plant pots from the poundshop (10 I think) and some gold spraypaint which I will use for my pots of gold. Also thinking about doing snowman soup. Would love to do dried oranges etc for my wrapping. Getting really excited now!!
I've saw previous posts about Country Baskets which I would love to go to next time I go to Glasgow as it sounds like my kind of shop!! Do I need to be a member or go I just go in?

I am also getting excited about christmas already! Feel like I have got some bargains which makes it all the better.
So far I have:
1 x Champneys gift set (half price in supermarket)
2 x Champneys lavender pillow mist (also half price in supermarket)
2 x nail varnish sets (£2 in Primark)
1 x hot water bottle with knitted cover (Primark, can't remember the price)
1 x Molton Brown hand cream (only paid postage with £10 off voucher)
There are more but I can't remember off the top of my head!
Am mostly looking forward to seeing all my family in 10 weeks time when the Christmas holiday begins!!0 -
