Well I have just made some of those humbug bags and they look really good even if I do say so myself .

I also nipped into my local 99p shop to look for some little cellophane bags and came across some nice big jars with a screw on lid for a bargain 99p!! So got one and filled it with some retro sweets and put a nice thick red ribbon around the lid. So that is another little pressy for DH.

Got some nice cheap Quicksilver socks from MandM direct and some Tesco value white flannels for the pint of socks (aiming to make it look like a pint of Guinness!)

im quite ashamed at how far behind i am this year!
so far all i have is;
for ds - uno moo game £3.77 (was £20)
- doodle monster £5 (was £30)
- adjustable basketball hoop and ball £5 (was £10)

for dd - dolls house £50 (was£100)
- tweenies dominoes game £1 (was £?)
- bunny and dress from build-a-bear £0 (was £25)

for niece - chilli pepper bag £3.99
- chilli pepper purse £1.99

i put the prices and savings because it makes me feel good

i am about 5% of the way through so have sooo much more to buy and i have 10 more birthdays before then too!

i'm in serious need of a cash injection right now:mad:!!!!!

Thats a good start and really well done with the savings! Thats massive already!

its seems really bad for me as this time last year i had all the birthdays done, both my kids finished (including stockings and xmas eve hamper) and about half of everyone elses finished!

Tomorrow I'm hopefully going to buy the flannel's for my reindeer (working out where to get them from at the moment) and button's for sock monkey eyes. I've also sent off for some free samples of fabric (from Freebies board) and am hoping they'll be enough to make my sock monkey accessories.

Since I get paid tomorrow (yay!) I'm going to buy some presents from the Internet too. I'm just waiting to see how much I get before deciding what to buy and what to leave for next month.
